Fantastic authentic goan fare. The food was by far one of the best we had on our trip. We walked to this place hungry and wolfed down the goan fare with cold beer! We are vegetarian and got great vindaloo and xacuti with the super...fresh goan poee. Highly recommend this simple no frills goan restaurant. It was one of our best mealsMore

After a long tiring day we thought of grabbing a simple sumptuous meal. But what Cafe Susegado had in store for us was next level amazing! Their Manager Nikhil told us he had gotten fresh crabs that morning and wanted us to have a look....We with massive scepticism asked him to get it and my God it was as fresh as they come. Still as our scepticism had not seized we ordered a butter garlic style and it was the best decision to take on the eve of my 1 week wedding anniversary! The crab was juicy and succulent paired with a wonderful butter garlic cheese sauce and not to forget the head butter in the fresh crab was as full as they come. We spent a good 2.5 hours picking the crab apart and enjoying it to the fullest! This is firmly a place to visit everytime I go to Goa!!More

Located in the main Candolim road, right opposite the KFC at the intersection, this is an easy to miss place because of its nondescript nature. But once you come inside, the place is stocked with artifacts of a bygone era....gramophone, radios, antiques etc....just lovely. The...food is too good...in fact one of the best Goan we had in this week long trip. The caffreal gravy is not to miss. We were on our way to the airport to catch our flight back and we thank our stars that we decided to stop here for brunch and not grab a KFC!!! Would definitely come back for a more relaxed dinner meal in our next tripMore

We visited this place for dinner and tried lot of dishes. Owner-Alvin helped us in choosing the dishes based on our requirements and everything tasted great. The place is superb, an old villa converted into restaurant. Alvin is very friendly and passionate about the restaurant,...we had great conversation. Food quality was very good and the spices were perfect. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Goa.More

Had the Opportunity to visit Cafe Sussegado 3 times during my 3 day trip to Goa. I was highly impressed by the owner Alvin's helpfulness. I am pure veg, and have a slightly restricted diet in veg, and Alvin was absolutely great is preparing for...me exactly what i needed, and i appreciate his going out of his way to do this!. The restaurant is casual, relaxed and you can sit outside and view people and the Goan life passing by while you relax with good food and drinks! I will make sure i visit Cafe Sussegado everytime i visit Goa, no matter how far i stay from him! Thanks Alvin!More

We visited Cafe Sussegado Souza for lunch on several occasions and was never disappointed, it’s a great venue sit on the balcony and watch the world go by, we also had a wonderful evening meal with friends which was superb, the owner and chef spent...ten minutes with us advising us re the different Goan dishes. This meal was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them, I can honestly say a must to visit 5 ⭐️More

This is a holdout from a different era. An old Goan tavern in a century old building which has not sold out so far. It has black and white tiled tables on the verandah and wooden tables inside. Traditional and modern drinks are served. The...house snack speciality is the chorizo sausages sliced and rumpled with onions and chillies. Quite a kick in that dish. The old memorabilia included a tape recorder,  gramophone, old utensils etc. Quite a quaint place.More

Found this restaurant on google. We got a table over looking the road which was great for people watching with a margarita. We had the chicken vindaloo & it was absolutely delicious just the right amount of heat. After our lunch we had drinks &...sat watching the action on the road. The service was excellent. Highly recommended. The young man below was so nice. Thank You.More

We visited Goa from 25mar until 29mar.we regularly ordered from this restaurant as their meals were rightly spiced and had excellent taste.once or twice we ordered from a different restaurant but their taste could never matched to what this cafe had to offer.I wanted to...get some food packed to bring back to Delhi and Alvin(the owner) arranged to have it delivered to me even though the time was very short.ultimately I did not carry it back as we did not want it to get spoilt due to hot weather, but Alvin's customer services just wowed us. I would highly recommend this restaurant as it offers food that has a rich taste and an owner who believes in pulling all plugs to serve his customers. Thanks again..truly appreciate everything.
