Great place for a good Goan meal. We visited with friends for New year's day dinner. Ordered butter garlic red snapper, rawa fried pomfret, chicken sukkem, masala calamari, and potato cafreal in starters. Try the balchao and poi ....they do a good job with all the goan dishes ..have seating both downstairs and upstairs and while they arent as nice looking as the original fishermans wharf towards panaji they more than make up with the food and service.

It's has been tremendous place and beautiful ambience and specialized in Goan seafood in North Goa. A charming stand-alone establishment, very easy to locate on the main road, The Fisherman's Wharf Calangute was a place we would have visited repeatedly, had we stayed longer in Goa. Charming ambience, good service, great food. A real fishing boat keeps you company, lit up...and mounted on a stand, evoking the sea and anticipation of seafood delights .... Among the delightful dishes we indulged in, were yummy, fulsome pomfret and lip-smacking pork sorpotel. They did not have the exotic-sounding dessert "Seradurra'' which disappointed me as I have a sweet tooth and like to try different types of desserts - but there's always a next time !More

Let me start with the location : a lovely little 3 storied stand alone resturant on the main road...with ample parking space and security and car park assist. THE FISHERMEN'S WHARF is best for sea food lovers, so if you and your fuky and friends are in goa and want to explore sone deleciou sea food this is the place. Service is just homely. They have enough staff to take care of any individual walking in, starting from the entry to assist you to be made comfortable to take care of your preferences and so on..... I would like to thank Ms. Sheetal, Ms. Shreyata, Mr. Mukul, Mr. Soren, Mr. Shubham, Mr. Saurabh and abdul bhai for the excellent service and homely care you all have provided to my family, friends and personally. All are the best but u would like to give 6bstar to Ms. Sheetal, she is my super star, a must meet girl, very professional, very humble, extremely caring and soft spoken. Food was super duper hit as we took the advise if the guys attending to us and the make our evening memorable and that is the reason I am here writing this review.
