In all countries that I visit, I try to find places that local likes. It wasn’t easy for Goa. Everything is created for tourists purposes. But in the end I was super lucky to discover that place. It’s amazing! Life music, super fresh and tasty...seafood for reasonable price and right cocktails (I drunk the couple and it was strongly enough, they don’t skimp on alcohol 😁). Keep in mind that it is a little bit away from beaches and on weekend you can’t find the place without reservation. But it's worth the effort. Definitely my favorite place in that part of Goa!More

Awesome ambience, not too loud when no bands are playing. Good service and excellent menu of choices. Excellent for reunions as well as business functions.

An absolute pathetic experience. Once upon a time we used to be here every weekend but I guess the popularity has hit their head. Came here on a special ocassion, how long would you wait for the menu ? We waited 25 minutes. How long...would you wait for your drinks and appetizers? We waited for almost 45 minutes and that too for a few of the appetizers missing cause the guy forgot about them. The owner busy with a drink in his hand and laughing away to Glory with his buddies in some corner at the bar counter least bothered. An absolute miserable experience to have. Absolutely arrogant and unapproachable human being, Id rather have a pleasant response from a wall then even trying to talk to this person. Wrote this review as we suffered this ordeal. If you have a special ocassion, I suggest you avoid The Farm House Varca, go to any other place , or heck go to the numerous street side stalls who have a better sense of customer service than this godforsaken sorry excuse for a restaurant.More

Farmhouse is a lively restaurant with live music and great food. We had booked a table for Christmas dinner but we went late since we just arrived after a long road trip from Bangalore. The owner was very considerate in giving us a seat even...though the place was completely booked. The restaurant has a great ambience with a pond and festive lights. I would highly recommend it for its authentic Goan food and is a good place to visit with family.More

The restaurant that the locals go to. This has been a favorite of mine since it opened. I happened to be in Goa during the low season a few years ago and was steered to the Farmhouse by a local friend since most of the...restaurants were shut. After the first experience, I have gone back over the years atleast once or twice a year, and the food has remained exceptional the service is quick and cheerful, and overall this is a place that I would happily take anyone to. An added bonus is the setting. next to a large fish pond, and with some geese and turkeys wandering around. They also offer fishing on all days other than mondays.More

Food was ok types, not much of a choice, service was horrible, no customer service at all , even at the management level service was horrible. If u wanna dine or have lunch this is not the place I wouldn't like to visit once again....It was a horrible experience with me n My frens family .More

We always respect any policy of any establishment. As a local family, we were invited here with friends with their small well behaved dog. Saw this on TA etc. After a 40 min drive we arrived at a lovely premises to try out the food...folks talk about. All was well until we were shooed away. BTW “”Pets are not even allowed on the ‘Property’ ... forget about the restaurant!! And don’t ask for the Owner I already asked him’!!!!! “””” Cheeky and rude. Will not be back!!!More

The farm house bar and bistro is really a wonderfull place to be at. I have been coming this place almost every year. The service here is really superb this year it has been improved alot.The waiters are polite,and of a friendly environment.The goan cusine...is very excellent but this year the chiness food i tasted was horrible.The fried rice that i had ordered was full oily and not properly cooked.The steak was superb, super delicious. Also in chilly chicken gravy there was a hair. This little things disappointed me alot.But in my review i would say that service was excellent.More

I would like to thank the owner of peles Windsong wooden cottage Mr.Ronnie to suggest this place for our family dinner . A beautiful place with classic decor giving good vibes the place has got a small pond where the fishing is allowed on weekends...we can either get our own fishing rods or they rent it out. Food is amazing here we tried lot of veg and nonveg food my veg sizzler was amazing the rice which the chef served was aromatic on my request he gave me a seperate portion of rice again . My husband and our other family members had nonveg and they really liked it a lot .More

I didn’t enjoy my food here at all but having said that my husband had a wonderful steak he really enjoyed so I think it’s down to what you order. This was recommended to us as I never heard about this restaurant. You need to...get a Tuk/ Tuk or taxi too far to walk from Benaulim. It’s off the main road down a narrow country road. We went on a Tuesday evening very quiet with dreadful music playing. Lovely setting looking out to the lake with a fountain. As previously said my husbands steak was really nice cooked perfectly. I know this because he had to share it with me as mine wasn’t edible I ordered slow cooked pork which had been marinated. There was nothing slow cooked about it chewy wasn’t the word. Didn’t eat it. And charged for it even we told the waiter it was vile. And it was sent back not touched. When we said not slow cooked as both meals came out the same time the waiter replied it was slow cooked slightly. ?????? Would not return very poor how they handled the poor food complaint.More

Great Concept, excellent food, and moderate price.  Though the restaurant is not by the beach, it does has its charm.  To go to this place you need to drive through the narrow village road. It's around 500 Mtrs from the main road.  Once you are...there.  They have enough parking, a large sitting area so to get a seat on weekdays should not be an issue, but during the weekend you need to the reservation,  as they get full during the weekends.service is a challenge during busy periods. We sat by the bar and ordered our drinks and food.  We ordered Goan sausages and chicken salad.  The food was of excellent quality. They had live bad which was good as well.  The restaurant has its own small lake, they let the customers catch freshwater fish and the kitchen will cook it for them.  Excellent ambiance,  music and great food.  They got it right.More
