ESCO'S SUN AND MOON, Benaulim

What a beach shack!!! Even during these unprecedented times, this beach shack has blown us away! There were no excuses in terms of their service, food, and beverages. This restaurant is very popular with many international tourists. We were felt very welcomed by the owners...who were on site. In terms of the food, it was pocket friendly and very broad and tasty. (The menu is also in English and Russian!). Most of the restaurant is outside, so there were no worries about coronavirus. And even better, it is rated. 2 in the top ten places to eat in the area! Trust us you wanna go here!More

Great day spent at Sun & Moon's shack

We spent almost a full day at their beach beds and restaurant during the new year season of 2020-21. The service was great (admittedly there were hardly any tourists but some of the shacks still didnt appear very inviting). The food was nice and the...menu is fairly exhaustive. The prices are also fairly reasonable. Definitely coming back here when we're next in S. Goa.More

We visited 4 times during our recent 5 week holiday. Our first visit was for fish and chips but we turned up on the wrong night! Not to be disappointed thought they served us anyway. Further visits for Chinese and Indian food. Every time the...food was good and the waiters and owners offer a courteous attentive service. Even our last visit, when we are only one of of two couples in the restaurant , we were made to feel welcome.More

Excellent

We ate here twice during our stay at Benaulim. Lovely restaurant set back from the beach. The food and the service were excellent both times we ate here. We even had wine with our evening meal. Wine is pricey in India but you can get...a small size bottle here instead of full size. They have lounge chairs on the beach and provide beach towels which was nice. I wanted to buy a bracelet from a seller on the beach but only had 2000 reps. The owner loaned me 150 reps and I then repaid him once we had lunch. That was very kind of him. I highly recommend this restaurant, nice people, good service and excellent food.More

Brilliant

We have enjoyed some of the very best Indian food that we have ever had in ESM. Having been born in Leicester that is saying something. The staff are very friendly and professional, service is very good and the prices extremely reasonable. Strongly recommended.

Great food

My husband and I are half way through a 3 week stay in Benaulim and are planning our 3rd trip to this restaurant this evening. Our favourite dish is their delicious chicken tikka with fries and salad. Simple but so flavoursome. The service is great...too.More

A beach delight.

This is a very good restaurant on the beach where you can watch the sun go down into the water while drinking a very good cocktail 2 for 1 , 5.30 till 6.30 . the food here is very good indeed.could not fault it.
