About
Mojigao is a place in the beautiful heritage village of Assagao where wellness, healthy living and great food come together. Our entire property is set in abundant Goan jungle with a vast array of plant and wildlife surrounding beautifully crafted wooden luxury cottages. Around every corner is a new secret pathway leading to special spots such as hidden statues, a water well, our two ponds, and hillside yoga shala. Mojigao also features an Artjuna restaurant which serves delicious Mediterranean style food, and doubles as a great work space and chill out area. We regularly have events and workshops of every genre; live music, yoga classes, meditation, art exhibitions, dance classes, the list

We went on two evenings, and absolutely loved the vibe at the place. The afternoons may be hot, but the evenings were pleasant in February. And if you get the bar stools at the edge along the high platform, then it is a brilliant evening...guaranteed. The tapas, the cocktails and the beer were pretty good. Most of the tapas that we tried were good, but we did not try the fried ones. The service is decent, but a bit slow.More

We went to breakfast once and I liked it. Took the whole family for lunch on a sat. It turned out to be a duo’s appointment. Limited menu, taste was barely manageable. My biggest issue was with service quality. Everything took really long to come...and further, the sever did not listen to multiple of our requests like for forks, spoons, plates, water etc that we wantesMore

The place is amazing. It has so many levels of seating that everyone feels they have their own space even if the place is full. Nature is all around you. Kudos on the interiors. The food and beverages are TOP NOTCH. The sandwiches have fresh...ingredients and the coffee smells divine. The service is great. Non intrusive but yet when you need something they come quickly. Very un goa like. The WiFi Deserves a shout out, I had friends taking work calls and none of them faced any issues. A must visit. A hidden gem. I hope it becomes a Goa legend in times to come.More

I was delighted as I entered the place. IT looked like a café nestled between nature. It was packed even at an odd hour, but we could manage to get a table for two overlooking the greenery. We spent three hours there. Impeccable food -...Mezzet plate, shakshuka and boreka. Service was poor, and I'd say this because the staff took our order and forgot. When we asked for coffee at 3.00 pm, we were given a weird look followed by "You want coffee now? No one is there to make it". The lady (slim, tattooed) was weird, forgot our ordered and seemed to be intoxicated through the day. She kept recommending the Jamuna smoothie to everyone which was just average. Apart from the service, everything was excellent.More

We went to the restaurant to have dessert and drinks after reading the TA reviews but the place had very bad desserts. We ordered the cheesecake and it tasted stale. My wife ordered grapefruit juice and they gave her juice of red grapes, they just...didn't have any clue what grapefruit was. Very poor experience. Never coming back.More

Gorgeous location. An absolute hidden gem. Great menu - the food and beverages are high quality and with a nice twist on each item. The service is a mixed bag - appears to be warm, but eventually not very responsive or timely. Overall well worth...it.More

Beautiful ambience and set up - they’ve created their own forest within which they have built 5/6 cottages to stay and this restaurant. We had the cacao granola bowl, which was amazing - lots of fruits, yogurt, granola etc. Also had the avocado sandwich, which...was awesome too. Also the waffle with butter and maple syrup was good. Highly Recommended place for breakfastMore

This place is a gem and the Mediterranean cuisine was awesome. Definitely order the fish and egg sandwich. We also loved the Mediterranean platter. It is part of a yoga retreat but the seating provides good space to all.
