Established in an old portuguese house surrounded by a beautiful garden, this location has developed into a popular and trendy place.... With a large outdoor restaurant, lifestyle shop, event area, workshop space and kids play ground, Artjuna is truly worth a visit. The garden restaurant is a lively and vibrant place with a welcoming atmosphere. Filled with mango trees and frangipani flowers, the garden grows colourful and lush. There is plenty of space to enjoy delicious and healthy food, meet up with friends, chill out and enjoy the excellent library. Artjuna is open for all day breakfast, lunch and dinner. A cafe that is all about art, music and lifestyle with super delicious Vegan food

I recently visited Goa and I was staying at Jungle Hostel, Vagator and they suggested this cafe with 10% from their side. So I thought to give it a try and trust me I was amazed to be here. It's a beautiful garden cafe with amazing music, beautiful ambiance, art gallery and even they have their little fashion store. Talking about the food and I am a vegetarian, so this place was a cherry on the top. A perfect vegan menu with a variety of dishes and beverages to die for. I had orange, ginger, carrot juice, with a greek sandwich (that contains feta cheese,olive, labane, tomato, cucumber, with olive oil and mixed herbs) and they provide it with a mouth-watering mango chutney. I also tried cheesecake and Tahini smoothie and everything was delicious. I had a wonderful brunch here. If you go in the evening, you can also enjoy live music performances.

More than just a cafe, a community

Came to Artjuna for breakfast on one of their busy mornings. The place was full and children were playing happily in the tree house. the breakfast smoothie was really good, but service was really slow (just one guy taking and serving orders). too bad we were in a hurry that day, hence we left with out trying most of the dishes on the menu. hope to come back soon

Best breakfast in Goa

Missing this healthy and tasty breakfast spread so badly. Artjuna In frame 1. Tahini smoothie (small) 2. Mango Bliss (Small) 3. Mozarella Sandwitch (Large) 4. Special Shakshuka Pocket pinch - Rs 880/- for a super filling breakfast. We didn't have lunch that day. Actually we needn't. The smoothie we took in small size and thanks to us that we did so, smoothie was so so heavy and thick that we was like 50% full after having the smoothies only. Tahini smoothie was better than Mango bliss. It tasted wao!!! We hate veggies actually, and was sad to see the brinjal 😂😂😂 ,but when we tasted this thing couldn't stop us from eating and finishing all at a go. Specially poached eggs inside was so creamy and it had a nice flavour. Feels awesome. And don't tell our parents that we finished the brinjals too 🤣🤣🤣🤣. . And we were completely full then. But had the sandwitches too. It was filling too. And so healthy and tasty at the same time. Actually if you go for breakfast, any of the dish with a small smoothie is just okay. But we couldn't resist the awesome menu card and will definitely go there and try something new in our next visit

Poor service, poor food quality & overpriced

My partner and I visited Artjuna for breakfast on 31 December 2019. I had visited Artjuna on a few occasions 5 years ago and I brought my partner to experience both Goa and Artjuna for the first time. Alas, it was a memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. Our breakfast and drinks arrived separately and we had to ask several times when we were going to be served. The eggs were delivered almost raw and had to be returned for more cooking and the bread / bun base was rock hard and inedible. The price for avacado with egg on rock hard bun, a cup of coffee, a strawberry lassi and a croissant with jam and an poor overall experience was rs800. The location and ambience of Artjuna was lovely. Pity about the poor service and overpriced and poor quality meal. It seems Artjuna has grown too big for its owners who are unable to manage the quality of service and food. David +61 421 992 885

Ignored by staff completely... Never coming back

This place was supposed to be really good but sitting here for more than 40 minutes and still no one even brought me a menu. When I tried to get somebody's attention they completely ignored me and looked the other way. It seems that it's over rated (and over priced) since they have no clue about customer service. Highly disappointed.

I like spending relatively quiet Sunday mornings for breakfast here. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is conducive to get one’s creative juices flowing and customer service is very good. This restaurant lives up to it’s name.

Tranquil and cozy space to chill

There are very few cafes in our country that isn’t about the decor or the theme. A cafe, supposedly, should be a place where people catch up over a cup of coffee or tea ensconced in a relaxing atmosphere. And that exactly Artjuna Cafe was for me. Strings of beautiful paintings hung on either side of the wall adorn the pathway that leads to an open space where plenty of cane furniture rest sprawled across the area. With tree branches and their shadows as the ceiling, one can completely relax with a book or spend time with friends over a delicious smoothie. What I liked the most about the place is the serene and tranquil environment. I could sit here all day with a cup of joe and my book. For bookworms alike, there are books available should you wish to read. There is also a small store selling organic products and eco friendly apparels. They also conduct artistic classes such as dancing, painting, and yoga etc etc. And there is a section selling antique furniture and cane products too. The food is amazing as well with plenty of organic, healthy options along with some delicious baked goods. The price is slightly on a higher range but is definitely worth the money. The only sour note in an otherwise good review is the attitude of the people working there. I found their behavior to be a little curt and unfriendly. They could try to be polite and courteous towards their customers. Hope they would work on that soon and retain good customer relationship.

Did nt like the food at all. Lasagne , ravioli, hummus all under average. The seat we got did nt even have a fan around , was very hot and uncomfortable. Service too slow , waiters don’t even come and ask if we require anything. Pls avoid

Awesome...must visit

We reached a bit late for lunch, at around 4:30pm, the restaurant was full, we managed to get a table after 15 mins. We ordered Fish Burger, Veg Pasta and Mediterranean Thali. The Fish Burger was one of the best burgers I have had till date. Pasta was nice, its just that they completely messed up with the order. I ordered non-spicy Penne, they got us high on spice Spaghetti. To my dismay, the thali was a let down. I had high hopes from the Mediterranean Thali thinking its what they are known about but couldnt agree with the flavors. Our order was brought about 40 mins after we placed it. Now the best part (besides the fish burger and the music), Artjuna's customer focus is at a different level. Since, the order was late, they served a complimentary choc pastry. They served the correct Penne pasta free of cost (FOC); even after my insistence to charge us for the pasta, they didnt charge us a penny. And they gave us two tarts FOC. They ensured that we enjoyed the Artjuna experience. We will definitely visit again to meet these good people, enjoy food and music. Keep it up. You are doing great.

Poorly managed n arrogance

I rated it poor but I will start with good things first. Food quality and portion size is good. Taste n flavour also good. But the place is not very hygienic. Open kitchen and you could see flies all over the food ingredients! With the price they are charging, they can surely have a better pest control. Smoothie s are awesome, Jamun, Powerpunch, tahini all good. Few of the staff members are really considerate but majority are arrogant. Despite us being a big group of 9, they were not very happy to host us. 'No' was their response--be it availability of many of the dishes, or to do something about the mosquitos, or to keep the stray dogs but away from our table ( kids/ ladies were not very comfortable with them around). The place was not very crowded, we went there early evening, but they still wanted us to leave early- reminded us to pay the bills repeatedly. Not a good experience. Mojigao, which I think is owned by same group/ person is a much much better place. You can re visit that palace instead of going to artjuna. I wish these people learn something from Mojigao

Great ambience, average food

Go there for the ambience, the chill factor and decent food to fill the stomach, not to be confused with good. Waffles and eggs ordered.. former overcooked and the latter served in a chutney bowl of sorts! Tasty, but attention To detail on presentation poor. Served with cold dry bread, no butter... and... cucumber and tomato salad on the side!? Why serve that with a brekkie dish. I repeat though.. has to be visited for the ambience and the chill factor.

Terrible service , mediocre food - avoidable

Between the service and the food , I am not sure which was worse . From no servers to take orders , to the server forgetting half of our order, to no cutlery , no napkins , the table not being clean and smelling of damp cloth … it was just the worst service I have ever had in Goa. Coming to the food , the hummus and Tel Aviv salad was bitter ( probably because of too much tahini ) and we had to return the salad as it just couldn’t be eaten . The falafel burger and salmon bagel was super average . With soo many options in Goa , this place is definitely avoidable if you are looking for good food and friendly , attentive service . The only good thing about Artjuna was the vibe and music .

Nice cafe with good food

Went here in the evening for a quick bite. The place and ambience is good. They had 3-4 dogs and a cat that was roaming around between tables taking treats from all😃. As for food we ordered the croissant sandwich and the falafel platter, both of these were really good and filling. Especially the hummus and pita bread👌 What could have been better was the lemonade (was too sweet) and lemon soda (was too sour). As for dessert we had waffles with maple syrup and the dish was great. Overall a great place to be for any meal of the day.

Excellent place and such a food vibe at this place. You’ll also see people working on their laptops around you thats because they offer work friendly environment too..Great concept..The menu is extensive and offers some amazing food and beverages options. Mozzarella croissant, mango bliss, coffee frappe are few of the things we tried and loved. This place do not offer alcohol of any kind so dont go with that expectation. A must try place!

Good food, chill vibe

Swung by here for breakfast. Great food for sure! Easy to just hang here for a while amidst all the greenery. The service staff can take a while to catch your eye so one has to be on the look out. If you are allergic to smoke, there maybe people smoking even though the sign indicates "no smoking". I did not see the establishment enforcing no smoking areas strictly. The attached clothing store though is very expensive for clothing and seems not very updated for now. For the food though, a big +++ A must go :)
