Established in an old portuguese house surrounded by a beautiful garden, this location has developed into a popular and trendy place.... With a large outdoor restaurant, lifestyle shop, event area, workshop space and kids play ground, Artjuna is truly worth a visit. A very popular cafe/ store on the way to Anjuna Beach. Although they are big and have lots of tables, it can get crowded towards the afternoon with significant waiting period for table. However that should not be a problem since you can spend the...waiting time in their well stocked store with lots of bohemian style clothing and jewelry. We went there for morning breakfast and there was already a sizable crowd at 0900. Being a mediterranean specialty restaurant , we tried Eggplant shakshuka (very good), freshly baked Mushroom Borekas (a take on Jewish Israeli bakery item thought to be Turkish in origin and very popular in Middle East and Balkans)- o little bit too oily and flaky for my taste , Green omellete- pesto sauce and spinach making this omellette the best among the dishes we tried. For drinks we had cappuccino (nothing out of ordinary -probably our expectations on the beans sourced from Chikmagalur was high), iced peach tea (not bad). The cookies that they give you with Cappuccino is excellent - they don't sell them although they sell pastries which almost takes like the cookies which is given with the coffee (according to the Cashier he was kind enough to give us a couple of pieces of the cookies for free. Thank you Mr. Sammer). And the dips -hummus -which comes with the dish although not really authentic is standout excellent. Efficient service , good vibe due to the Diwali holiday crowd out to have a good time. Expect to spend around 500rs per person- there is no service charge levied, so if you get good service, please do tip.More

Visited the Artjuna Badem branch twice during our stay in Goa. Great vibe, good selection of food and drinks for lunch. The staff were very kind and helpful, particularly the owner who gave great Goa recommendations.

Artjuna gave us the most aesthetic vibes with live music, a cloth shop with some beautiful jewelry and indie clothes. The croissants are the flakiest and mood here is simply blissful.

We have been visiting Artjuna in Anjuna every time we are in Goa. The atmosphere is always peaceful and calm in the mornings, making it an ideal place for breakfast. The bakery stuff is delicious, and the coffee is amazing. We always have the Butterfly...Bread, Butter Croissant, Tuna Sandwich, Pancake, and Waffle, and all of them are so good! The staff is also friendly and helpful.r. I would definitely recommend Artjuna to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in Anjuna. After an excellent lunchtime cappuccino and decent sandwich, a return trip was made for dinner. Price is never an issue in Goa but outrageously they priced their beer at Rs 480 - 940 plus 22% tax meaning RS 586 - Rs 1147 for one large...660ml glass. Their cheapest beer was at least three times the price of a large beer elsewhere and more than charged by five star hotels. Whilst food prices were normal, plans for dinner here were abandoned and the pms planned group meal moved to somewhere reasonable. £6 - £11 / Euro 6,70 - Euro 13 may be normal for a large beer in expensive parts of Europe but in Goa this is nothing short of utter greed and an absolute rip off. To put in to context this equates to one or two day’s pay for the poor waiters having to charge these disgraceful prices. Asides from during COVID, i visit Goa twice yearly and have never felt the need to leave a bad review.More

If you go to Goa , Artjuna is one recommendation you are bound to get. They have 2-3 cafés in the city, the one I visited was the badem one. It’s a small cafe but with enough seating. We reached just in time for breakfast...around 10am , after this it started bustling with people. They do have some space for parking which is a barren ground. This one had limited menu- we ordered the mushroom egg open sandhwhich , cold coffee , pineapple mint juice and omelette sandwich. The cold coffee was better at mojigao ( their sister cafe) but the mushroom egg open sandwich was really good! It’s a small portion but worth it. The omelette sandwich also didn’t disappoint , the bread was so soft and different. We also tried the fruit tart which was average and the chocolate fondant cake slice which again was okay and nothing wow!! Overall one shouldn’t miss this place for its sandwiches … it’s a must visit place for breakfast!More

We reached a bit late for lunch, at around 4:30pm, the restaurant was full, we managed to get a table after 15 mins. We ordered Fish Burger, Veg Pasta and Mediterranean Thali. The Fish Burger was one of the best burgers I have had till...date. Pasta was nice, its just that they completely messed up with the order. I ordered non-spicy Penne, they got us high on spice Spaghetti. To my dismay, the thali was a let down. I had high hopes from the Mediterranean Thali thinking its what they are known about but couldnt agree with the flavors. Our order was brought about 40 mins after we placed it. Now the best part (besides the fish burger and the music), Artjuna's customer focus is at a different level. Since, the order was late, they served a complimentary choc pastry. They served the correct Penne pasta free of cost (FOC); even after my insistence to charge us for the pasta, they didnt charge us a penny. And they gave us two tarts FOC. They ensured that we enjoyed the Artjuna experience. We will definitely visit again to meet these good people, enjoy food and music. Keep it up. You are doing great.More
