I ordered the Blackened Grouper and crab bisque. Both were excellent. We had two young kids and the place was ok for them. Can't wait to go back and try something different. They had a lot of dishes that look very appealing.

We had a terrible experience here. We both ordered 2 different styles of shrimp, we also had some craw dads. The food was well below average. We were one of 4 tables during lunch time and it took 13 minutes to get our drinks. Just a really negative experience. We won't be back.

Buddy and I stopped in for lunch while down for Alabama 500. Randy, our waiter, was quite helpful and friendly. We ordered po boys. The bread was fresh I had lots of shrimp which were not overcooked. A local IPA topped it off. God severe and good food.

Ate here tonight while visiting Hoover, AL. While it is hard to find , the search is well worth it. Oysters were plump and fresh ( my husband and I split a dozen raw and another dozen fried) both were excellent. Ordered hush puppies and they melted in your mouth. We each had gumbo and thought both types were very... More

We drive 2 1/2 hours to eat at Jubilee Joe's. The grouper, crawfish etouffee, and coleslaw are my favorite! The prices are very reasonable and do not go away hungry.

My husband and I decided to give this restaurant one more try. We had eaten here several years ago and wanted to see if it had improved. First let me say that my husband loves Cajun food so I thought he would enjoy the food. He ordered the Crawfish tails Alfredo and he said his dish was very bland. It... More

Omg, I stopped here for a to go order. My daughter and I were quickly greeted and the staff was patient and helped me choose my order. I was visiting Bessemer for my family reunion. I ordered a sampler meat platter with calamari, shrimp and gator bites ( my first time tasting gator). I also ordered a side sampler with... More

Definitely try the Lump Crab Cakes & Slaw appetizer. The crab cakes were served with a delicious homemade dijon mustard sauce and are probably the best crab cakes we've ever tasted. Our main course was the Grouper Special which was a rosemary seasoned grouper, stuffed with homemade crab cake, oven baked over a bed of cheddar mashed potatoes and sauteed... More

Read some previous reviews here and decided to try it out. Glad we did. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated right away. The dining room was clean and nicely done up in a New Orleans theme. Lots of mirrors so the place feels bigger than it actually was. Drinks came quickly after seating and the hardest part was deciding... More
