If loving their food is wrong, I don't want to be right. You can taste the pride in every item prepared by Salvador and his family. I hesitate to single out one item because I encourage you to try them all. Save room for a churro or flan.

I travel a lot throughout the southeastern US and have about given up on finding good authentic Mexican food. The positive reviews for El Palomino were enough to convince us to give this small place a try. We're glad we did!

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally got the opportunity to do so this weekend. This place is authentic Mexican food and very good. I had a beef taco and a steak burrito and both were the best I've ever had. The prices are fair and definitely worth it. I will definitely be back... More

Looking for a decent Mexican place to eat while in town, found a very authentic Mexican Taqueria. Good, tasty and fresh food.

I go here frequently. The service is very friendly, and the food is absolutely amazing. It's no frills-you can either pull through the drive through or sit at the picnic tables outside the building to eat.

I love Mexican food but have been unable to find really good Spanish rice. This place has it and more! The tamales are out of this world, the rice is beyond good and the chips and salsa are really good too. Saturday seems to be a big tamale day because when we went folks were lined up to get them.

This is so authentic. No frills, just great food. My favorite is the Chile Relleno so that is what I always get. It is served with steak, rice and beans and corn tortillas, $9.95. Unbelievable.

Very good place to get authentic Mexican food fast. It is a take out place and a few benches outside. I stop and order tamales all the time they are excellent.

A local authentic Mexican restaurant with great service! I wish it was larger so friends and I could sit inside and enjoy. Outside eating in the July heat is offered but way to humid for me. Go treat yourself to a meal from El Palomino

This place is easily missed because of its size but is a fantastic find for authentic Mexican food with generous portions at reasonable prices and tasty. Very limited outdoor seating, a drive through, and no indoor dining. If you don't see what you want on the menu just ask and the staff will accommodate your request if possible. I eat... More
