Fabulous vegetarian food and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent, efficient without being over bearing. We loved everything we had. The food is slightly expensive but not for what you get. On top of the prices there were 2 different taxes and ten...percent service charge (which was stated as optional). This reasonable but maybe needs to be clearer for visitors.More

This is a vegetarian restaurant par excellence in the premium Park Street area. Thankfully they have valet service which we didn’t use as we were not aware of it. The decor is understated and classy. The service is impeccable. Special mention of Oliver. Good is...to die for. Try the Kombucha specially made for the chain restaurant. Very few vegan options. Don’t miss the desserts. The Khowsuey is to die for. The Guava salad was novel and very tasty. Spic and span toilet. What else does one want?More

Such great tasting food. Awesome service. The manager came and spoke with us. Shristi made great recommendations and really knew every item on the menu. They only serve vegetarian food and to be honest, I did not miss the meat. There’s no bar but they...do serve some fine mock tails and teas. Yes it’s a tad expensive but the quality is very very good. Great ambience too. Burma Burma also has a pantry section from where you can buy condiments and tea to take home. Definitely try their khao suay. It’s the best.More

An excellent place to try Burmese and South East Asian dishes. And some excellent tea from all over the world! Menu, Food and Teas: A varied menu which calls for a detailed study, especially for the exquisite description of the teas. Food quality is excellent...and well-plated. The teas are well-prepared and a connoisseur's delight. Ambiance: A rich, well-decorated, well-designed place, very welcoming. They have seating on the ground floor as well as the first. Makes one feel like dressing up to visit this place. Service: Very welcoming and knowledgeable. Though can become a bit overloaded when the place is full. Overall, a great place for vegetarian food and for a connoisseur's delight for teas!More

Extremely POOR service. Understaffed. Food was good, but the service made the dining experience very bad. Tables to close to each other, very loud. Servers to busy to take the order and it took more than 10 min to get the bill.More

It took multiple attempts before our family of three could have a meal at Burma Burma restaurant and tea-room just off Park Street. They accept bookings for dinner, but only upto 730pm, beyond which you have to try your luck – and you might not...get lucky on weekends! Burma Burma occupies the ground and mezzanine floors in an old building, so one gets an impression of space. The décor is subtle and it matches the Burmese theme. The crockery and cutlery are excellent – their napkins, made of thick grey paper and adorned with their logo, deserve a special mention. The menu is all vegetarian, and offers typical Burmese fare. The staff are well-trained and courteous – they offer prompt and unobtrusive service. We ordered Burmese Pepper Soup, Grill That Bao, Oh No Khowsuey Splits and Stir Fry Vegetables (Burmese Style). The food turned out to be excellent and the helpings were generous too. The service was prompt and unobtrusive. We decided to forego dessert and order tea instead. We ordered three types, including Ginseng Oolong and Strawberry Aloe White Tea. We were rather surprised to get three pots instead of the three cups we were expecting, but all of them were tea excellent and we nearly finished all the pots. I have not yet had the chance to visit Burma (now called Myanmar), but I would certainly like to go there after visiting Burma Burma!More
