Compact space of 3 dinning tables and fresh services. Obviously Tom & Jerry lovers would enjoy the decoration where wall clock to laptop cover is made of those cartoon characters. We have ordered for bread and butter, french fries, chicken cheese sandwich and two hot...chocolate coffees. Quantity as well as quality of food, both are good according to price. Service and behavior were very gentle.More
Looking at it 4.5 star rating we visited Tom & Jerry’s on a rainy, damp and cold evening of 18th Oct21. Placed order for Pork chilli fry dry, Hash-browns, Bacon grilled sandwich and Crispy garlic potato bites. Pork fry was chewy and was mostly fat,...the bacon used in sandwich was also chewy and mostly pork fat, hash browns were far from what a hash brown is it was an amalgamation of soggy French fries, also it was the largest (5 inch diameter) and worst hash brown I have ever experienced. Crispy garlic potato bites - what can I say, it was just some small boiled potatoes slightly coated with a masala. Paid Rs1150/- for four of us was a total waste of money. Water is not served unless you ask for it and even if you ask you get one glass. I guess you guys were great or else how did you get the rating of 4.5 but now it’s fall from grace. Get your business in order that’s my suggestion and advice.More
A tiny but cute little cafe with a small collection of books and a good menu. Only the owner was there at the time, but he made us a delicious meal of ramen and an omelette , and we had a kiwi delight at the...end. It’s decorated, obviously , on a Tom and Jerry theme .More
This place was my new discovery in Darjeeling. And I'm going to visit it on my every future Darjeeling trip. As we were on a quick trip we didn't have much time to explore the popular places around. But the delicious brunch at Tom &...Jerry's made my day (as well as my trip). We had ordered two brunch platters - one veg with Hashbrowns a non-veg with ham. These platters were so filling that we didn't have anymore appetite left afterwards.
I have deducted one star for the two things that bothered me:
1. Lack of washroom at the restaurant. I had to use the public washroom outside on the road which had no water and was in a pathetic state.
2. The small area of the restaurant. Since we visited during the off-season and were just three of us, the tiny seating space wasn't an issue. Nonetheless, I wonder how do they manage during tourist season and large groups of customers.
Aside these, I'm happy with their menu and food quality.More
We were Ok with the delay since it was just 1 guy making the meal. However after serving my spaghetti primavera, the cook said he forgot to add the seasoning - extremely bland.
We also ordered the burger - the cook tried switching the microwave...on for over 10 min to cook the burger, but it never went on. So then he went ahead and heated the burger on the gas-stove. Haven't had a more below average meal and such poor service ever.More
We come for breakfast and diner here and he was very very nice guy! We take a very good banana and honey porrige and it was very good and with big quantity and when we come back we try one veg an one meet burger...and both are very good. It's a small and very good place. Thank you again 🙂More
