This small shop have a nice choice of Darjeeling teas (the best from the different tea houses we tested). The women serving us was very competent and we appreciate a lot the 6 different teas we tasted. A suggestion would be to add some pastries (actually they only have muffins)

If you enjoy the subtle taste and aroma of Darjeeling tea you should visit this place. They have a huge variety, all grown in their gardens. Tea is served in transparent cups so that you can enjoy the different colours of the teas. However, if your taste buds are used to the strong flavours of CTC variety of tea, complete... More

Of course, when you visit Darjeeling you have to have Darjeeling tea. We looked at several place and chose Goodricke's, mostly because there was no one there so we figured we would get better service, questions asked, that kind of thing. Well, we misjudged. The person behind the counter could barely communicate in English. It took a while to figure... More

A trip to Darjeeling remains incomplete without purchasing some Darjeeling tea. The tea gardens are no longer what they used to be, but still there is muscatel, and few other varieties that you may like to sip. Goodricke is a good place to pick and choose your supply from. Its location is very good.

Good quality tea can be as expensive as Rs.1 Lac per kg. Darjeeling tea today is a patented product and is manufactured not just in Darjeeling but also in Mexico and... More
