A place where food, surroundings and music sync so beautifully giving one the best gastronomical experiences.
Setting : Care had been given to every aspect starting from the Menu which was a grand book on its own. The interiors reflect the best of what India...has to offer and again so smartly chosen. The bronze idols of Tamil Nadu mix so beautifully with the Rajashthani paintings. The wood decor including the tables was astounding. Temple Umbrella was a lovely choice around the chandelier.Soothing instrumental Carnatic music of violin and flute. The most important thing was space with tables placed far away giving you the much needed privacy.
Food : This area one can never be let down despite how great an ambience you have. One of the finest South Indian food I have had recently.North Indian fare is mixed up slightly to suit a more common palate. Broccoli soup was refreshing. Crisp Vadams and Samosas for starters. Main course introduced with piping hot pooris and parathas from the kitchen. Followed by this was all South Indian fan fare one after the other. Even though it’s a Thali meal , the main dishes were actually served piping hot seperately. The Vathakuzhambu Sadham served with Carrot poriyal and ghee was out of the world. Similarly the Mor Kuzhambu was extraordinary. The curd rice was exactly how my mother makes it at home just gliding down to the stomach. The pickles were all fresh. Special mention of Fresh mango and ginger cut pickle. The curtain close down was a grand hot Payasam , Gulab Jamun and choice of ice cream.
Surprise elements : Ammini Kozhakattai, Vatthal of Sundakka, Manathakkali and Vempam poo served seperately.Tamarai thandu. Sweet Paan after the meal.More
One of the best places in Chennai is you are craving for a South Indian vegetarian meal. The lunch thali is like some 3 to 4 meals put together, starting with a very authentic soup to starters and finishing with 3 to 4 desserts -...feels like home cooking.
The service is exemplary with people from various working jobs volunteering for the roles.
I would definitely say yes to this place for a return.
The place has valet parking, spacious sitting in the dining room and pandemic precautions are in place.
The price is reasonable for this buffet and now are open only Friday, Saturday and Sunday due to the pandemic.
I would definitely suggest to call in advance and book a table - as most of the time it is full.More
A place to go with lots of appetite. The ambience and service are equally great as the food itself. Huge spread of lunch thali( almost 3 meals like). Couldn’t have everything , just so large spread. Kids enjoyed the variety and decor. Definitely recommended for...celebratory eventsMore

Thank you so much. You are posting on the Chennai TripAdvisor page.
Fantastic, delicious meal with a very classical indian deco. The dishes on the buffet table were very tasty and felt home cooked. The overall ambeince & lighting are something to remember. The staffs who are serving are well dressed, courteous and cheerful.
Money's worth for...the food spread.More
You are warmly welcomed. The staff is very courteous. The ambience is stunning, it gives you antique and classic. It is more indian and few of paintings and statues are amazing. Food is awesome and served with love. They can work on their pricing, very...expensive. They use the profit for noble and charitable work which is very heartwarming.More
Luckily we failed to find the first restaurant we wanted to visit because we ended up here. We both had the set menu. The delightful flavours just kept on arriving. The juices were also very fine indeed. Absolutely recommended.
