Bombay Brassiere is back with a bang! Fantastic menu, Beautiful interiors and ambiance, Fabulous food. They are one of the rare place that can serve truly Indian food across the x-y axis of India. Kashmiri naan kebab was mind blowing. Must try Naga Ghosht Pepper,...Calcutta Club Fish Fry, Aam pappad paneer, Chilli Cheese stuffed kulcha. Each one of them were out beating in their taste and presentation. Dont miss the Jalebi with Rabri, Amritsari Kulfi and Bread pudding. They have outdoor seating and PDR's as well. Great place.More

This definitely gives me lot of happiness to see that Bombay brassiere is back in action at Nungambakkam and that too with the original tag. I always loved the location and ambience of this place, specially the outdoor seating! This is one of the few...places in Chennai that serves food from all over India, traditional food with a modern twist! We started our evening with Jaipur Gulabo. what attracted me to this drink was offcourse the name! But was amazed with its taste and presentation. The papad bowl was not only colourful but came with variety of papads and dips. My favourite being the salsa dip! The aam papad paneer was soft silky paneer costed in dry sweet mango sauce. It had a tangy and sweet flavour! Naga ghost pepper wings! Naga peppers are one of the spiciest and that is used to make this dish. The flavour is absolutely stunning if you are ready to handle the heat. The Calcutta club fish fry was the most amazing dish! The fish was fresh the kasundi sauce used was full of flavour and fried to perfect crispiness! The chilli cheese kulcha was a very creative blend of chilli cheese and kulcha. Kulcha that usually comes as a bread with mains came with a twist like a appetizer! The cheese just oozed out with a bite. The Kashmiri naan kebab was a beauty of a dish. This can be had as an appetizer or a main, served with a walnut dip. It truly is a kashmiri beauty! The finale is always sweet and these desserts were indian, but exotic! Jalebi with rabri, amritsari kulfi and Anglo Indian bread pudding. Presentation was perfect, taste was absolutely stunning!More

The decor is white looking like the inside of a colonial British house, with old Indian cooking tools. The menu is small but diverse and all Indian. Everything was good, but I’m not an expert. The pacing was slow, with different items brought out slowly...over a pleasant evening.More

A few colleagues and I ate here recently and we had an astounding meal! We shared a handful of dishes and every one was a hit. Hands-down, the gunpowder potatoes are the right way to start the meal. As a Westerner, I was told to...be careful with what and where I ate while in India. Bombay Brasserie was clean, had great service, and I had absolutely no reservations about any items on the menu. Would definitely visit again.More

I love this place . This is located about 3- 5 minutes walk from the famous Shankara Nethralaya which is one of the most famous eye hospital. The resto is located in a nice silent area. There is enough parking in the reatuarant. The restaurant...is actually a large old house which they have remodelled very tastily. The food and the service here is close to excellent. I cannot point our one dish as it will do injustice to the other wondersful offerings from this resto. Worth a visit!!!!More
