Try to sit on the far side by the window as it's warmer & nearer to the Dosa section. Very friendly & attentive staff. Food is pretty good- best were the green moong dosas- exceptional! Nice fresh juice. If only they had sugar cane juice.

We had buffet breakfast and lunch at the restaurant. As is with most five star properties, a la carte is not a viable alternative when a buffet is being served. They had a very wide spread with choices of Indian and western cuisines. The decor...is Madrasi with a sample of traditional life, stainless steel utensils and rural antique kitchen gadgets on display. The food is tasty and filled with flavours. Having got used to bland food or ‘health foods’ at home, this was a pleasant change. The staff were attentive and were offering suggestions on items to be tasted. For breakfast, they had a separate section of healthy choices. These were also made tasty. Another notable thing about the food is that people with restrictions on diets due to choice or health - vegans and diabetics, too had enough choices to relish the meal. Another notable feature was that the lunch buffet with such a choice and taste was half as expensive as dinners with set menus we had in other restaurants.More

Excellent dine out for making memories with folks and friends. Sumptuous spread. Veera Kumar, Sabin, Siddharth and chef Ranjit made an excellent example of good hosting. Very cost effective.

The breakfast spread at Spice Haat was just awesome. The Masala Dosa and Vadas are one of the best, I've eaten in Chennai. The other dishes were well prepared, as well. I need to mention a Trio, who pampered me and looked after me, so...well. They were Siddharth, Tuithung and Saurav. Tuithung played the perfect host. In the conversation, I had with her, I told her I was leaving Chennai this morning. I was pleasantly surprised, when she came back later with a small cake with Bon Voyage on it. It made my journey all the more pleasant. Thank you Hyatt Regency and thank you Tuithung and Team, for the good food, hospitality and care. You guys are Great. Much appreciated. On a scale of 1 to 10, I will rate your service and food at 11.More
