I like this restaurant as it gives good food taste and very good service. The waiters would take care of all your needs

Not sure if it was the time or day we went, but it was strangely empty for evening. Without any customers except our table, we had all the staff at our service. But though the service was great, the food was just ok. I noticed one member of the staff bring prepared food in styrofoam trays and a plastic bag: where was it cooked? In the kitchen on the floor above or elsewhere. This puzzled us. The only things that were obviously prepared on site were the fresh coconut water, the apams and the coffee. There may be a valuable explanation, but this experience was peculiar to say the least.
This is unfortunate because the place is really beautifull.

The newly opened Coconut Grove is spacious and clean. The food was average - Ulli theeyal and appam were good. But the fish was made frozen fish and not fresh. In Chennai, right on the coast, this is not acceptable. Service was polite and courteous.
Probably, the food will improve once the restaurant settles down.

The restaurant has great view and friendly staff. However the focus of visit was food and it was pathetic. The lunch thali that my wife had was tasteless and very little Kerala dishes which is what this restaurant was supposed to be. The fish curry that I ordered had no salt at all. The staff were friendly enough to apologise but not change the item😡
