We were staying in the hotel Trident Jaipur and were very disappointed in our visit to this restaurant. You couldn't book a table and as there was a large coach party in, sampling the buffet, it was very busy and noisy. We were stuck on...a table right next to the buffet area, with people pushing past to get to the food on the buffet table. It was not a nice experience the restaurant seemed like the equivalent to dining in Butlins. There was no ambience and we couldn't wait to leave. Service was not there, I don't think the restaurant can cope when they have large coach party's coming here.More

We came her for dinner twice and buffet in the morning twice. Seating is more than ample. They have numerous staff ready and waiting to take your order, assist with explanations of entrees, etc. Staff are courteous, helpful and pleasant. Some are trainees, and others...in various stages of seniority. The restaurant is clean and elegant, though, no formality is required. There is a generous display of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, salad, bread, desert, condiments, soups, etc. They have a good selection of wine, beer, cocktails and mocktails. Quality and taste for a buffet style is excellent, But they have a wide selection of ala carte items, as well. For selection, this restaurant does very well. My wife and mother in law ordered a Mahgerita pizza. The cheese was tasty, tomatos were fresh and the crust was thin and crispy. The crust was very close to what Naan would be like but thinner and crispier. There was the right amount of spices and tomato sauce. You have the option of a table or booth. It was winter so I don’t know about eating on the patio or next to the besutiful pool. Staff are accommodating, friendly and helpful. Obviously we went to dine there on multiple occasions on this beautiful visit, but I recommend this place.More

The Jal Mahal has some excellent food and great cocktails. Ajay (in the restaurant) will look after you and make you feel welcome. The buffet is a good mix of mostly Indian fare but have a range of vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian food. The...icecream is awesome too! Really enjoyed the soups.More

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and basically ate at Jal Mahal restaurant everyday. The buffet breakfast is excellent, which plenty of choices for all tastes and good quality. Lunch was a la carte, the kids loved the vegetarian burgers and french fries....We had the dinner buffet but also à la carte, the vegetarian thali was amazing and the Western food was quite good. Special mention for the Indian breads, we had nan, roti and paranthas which all seemed excellent.More

An inhouse restaurant of Hotel Trident with nice & cool ambience. During our stay at Trident, had buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Both buffet breakfast & dinner had reasonable spread with option of live counters. The foods were reasonably tasty as well. However, the most...striking feature of this restaurant is their hospitality. I was surprised to note that from 2nd day onwards, most of the restaurant staffs were welcoming us by name, wonder how do they remember the guests by name. Further the chefs / staff members do take feedback from the guests and respond to their queries / demands. Would like to narrate incidences like serving Vetki Fish delicacies to us, which was not part of buffet menu, based on our query; serving early morning packed breakfast etc., excellent gesture to remember for life long. Thanks to Mr. Gaurav, Mr. Sourav to name few, sorry don’t recall all the names, for their excellent hospitality, which enhanced the pleasure of dining.More

We were staying at the Trident and had three breakfasts and two late lunches at the Jal Mahal Restaurant. The buffet breakfast variety and quality is excellent but made exceptional by the specials that can be ordered - Indian and western tastes are well catered...for. Our lunches were very tasty, we tried Indian dishes and were delighted with them. The wait staff are superb - nothing was too much trouble and they remembered our name, what we ate and where we sat after just one visit! Highly recommend.More

I visited on 5th January, 2018 with my family and had ordered Veg. Club Sandwich and Salt n Pepper Mushroom and Vegetable Pakora and Strawberry Milkshake and Chai/Tea. Starting with the sandwich there were 4 portions with Mustard sauce which is really incredible. The sandwich...was a 3-layered with Zucchini and Cheese with 1 layer and tomato and lettuce with onions on another. The sandwich was apt for everyone and grilled. The flavors and spices were blended greatly. Then coming to the Mushrooms. They were very well fried with green garlic and black pepper. The aroma was just amazing. Kudos to Chef Aman. The shake was truly ice cream shake. Overall I would like to rate it 4.5 for the overall taste, professionalism and ambience.More
