Stayed at this wonderfully curated resort to experience a Rajasthani village. While the ambience is great, the rooms need to be brightened up a fair bit. The decor is a bit over the top and the rooms appear dark and slightly dingy. The hotel staff is undertrained and seldom have a clue of what's being asked of them. Also, they DO NOT offer single or twin beds making it very awkward for family or friends who need to share a room. Huge downer as far as I'm concerned. The village fair is very nice and the food (try the indoor restaurant if you go in summer) is a fantastic offering of the Rajasthani thali. Keep some room for the delicious Kulfi (type of Indian icecream) for dessert.

We went here to experience what is billed as a "typical Rajasthani village", and I really enjoyed it! There were delicious foods I'd never tried before, dancers performing traditional dances, live music, camel rides, and interesting architecture. I understand that the price might be considered high by some, but I felt it was reasonable for the amount of food we got and the experiences. There is a shopping area in the back, with unique gift stores representing different regions of India. Some of these stores had great prices and I did buy a few things, but I really hate when you have to pay admission to a place (you can't enter Chokhi Dani without paying to eat) to then shop inside. That seems excessive. I'm really glad I went, and highly recommend it for those looking for a unique Rajasthani experience.

Good place to visit if you want to have the experience of a Rajasthani village. The dinner part is included at two different prices of 900 and 1400. However the dinner situation is not very well handled and has long waiting times . No consideration for senior citizens or young kids despite talking to the staff. Everyone had to wait for 1-2 hours. I even noticed a family with a very young kid waiting in the queue. The people serving food were excellent though.

The stay was not pleasent at all in Choki Dhani. In my opinion the tarrif for a day with the amenities what they are offering is extremely expensive. In this tarriff we can easily stay in 5 star property with good amenities. Secondly the buffet in Choupal restaurant is also expensive. The management needs to be little more attentive towards the buffet part because I saw when a vessel of food gets empty I need to call someone from the management to get the item refill They need to work on their rooms as well because the tarrif they are charging and amenities they are providing in the room is not upto the mark.

Worst place. Dinner tasteless. Price too high as compare to service. They charge 900 to 1200 per individual but you have to wait for 2 to 4hr for food. Even the show inside the perimises is waste of time. Infact I would suggest to visit chokha Punjabi as an alternative.

This was a pretty bad experience. Long line up, they did not tell us properly what each ticket entailed. When we got in, the wait for the seated arrangement was two hours and then there was buffet service where we lined up and got food. Not worth the price at all. Definitely need better customer service. I brought my foreign guests but it was really a terrible experience. Would not recommend.

Don’t go! An evening excursion with buffet style dinner was included in our tour package. The venue was overcrowded, the reception staff were unfriendly and unable to speak English and unable to assist us. The smell upon entering was nauseating. We had to hop over camel and horse urine and feces. The ‘entertainers’ were constantly hustling us for money. We were unable to eat as there were no plates, bowls or utensils to dish the food into. We were given serving trays to dish up our dinner on. The only redeeming factor were the shops at the back of the venue. The items were reasonably priced and you didn’t have to begin the tiresome bartering.

Avoid this place! They overcharge right from the start, demanding an entry fee of ₹1500-₹1800 per person. Once inside, the experience only gets worse. You'll be made to wait for over 90 minutes just to get your dinner. If you're hoping to explore fancy spots or food stalls inside, be prepared to spend even more—every stall is paid, and the costs keep adding up. This place is definitely not recommended for families looking for an affordable dining experience. Instead of paying ₹1800 per person for this subpar venue, you could enjoy a full family dinner elsewhere for the same amount. Skip it!

Chokhi Dhani village is good for one time visit. The entrance fee is 1100 rupees which includes traditional dinner. Since we visited on weekend it was heavily crowded. No place to sit and eat. We did not get the traditional welcome and place to sit and enjoy the food. We had food at self service counter. The buffet ok. The camel, elephant, boat, horse, bullock cart rides are available each with additional ticket of 20 rupees. There are several traditional dance shows, magic shows, pottery and many activities to enjoy. This place is open from evening 5pm to 11pm

Lalchi logo ki jagah. Don't go here. From entering till exiting all there staff irritates you by saying kuch sewa kardo. Even after entry fees everything is chargeable and you'll have to spend another 1000-2000 rs if you want to enjoy activities and there food. Choki dhani is cashing its name. Surely in few time no one would wish to go there. I won't come to this place again ever

Chokhi Dhani would always be on my things to do list, every time, I would visit Jaipur . I used to love visiting Chokhi Dhani , but after my last visit, I’d say not anymore. On my recent visit I took my friends from Croatia to experience the culture and heritage of Rajasthan . But to my utter surprise, I was highly disappointed. Although, they have incorporated a lot more activities from the past, but have majorly dropped the quality and the flavour this place one offered. We took rupees 1500 /pp ticket, thinking the dinning experience at the resort would be a lot better than their usual sit down dinning experience. But, it turned out to be a total bummer. The place completely missed the authentic Rajasthani flavour, the food wasn’t as delicious as once it used to be.. The way they served food inside was far far different from the traditional way of serving, as it was a buffet. Although, the variety at the resort was huge and they even served you soft beverages inside , but what’s the point if you miss on the traditional typical Rajasthani warmth, which this place once boasted of. Towards the end of it all, we felt the Rs. 900 ticket would have been better since it gives you a lot more authentic experience(especially the dinning experience). I’d stay, for my Croatian friends, it was surely a good experience. They took a lot of photos & videos, danced with the KalBeliya dancers. For us, it was surely a disappointment.

I had the misfortune of visiting this traditional restaurant recently and it was a truly terrible experience. We visited the restaurant based on the recommendation of a few friends, but it was an absolute low light of the trip. The food was unrecognisable and inedible, even for children. The queues were excessively long and the lighting was so bad that I actually fell down. To make matters worse, the place was overcrowded and there was poor management. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. The food was also too spicy and unpleasant. The restaurant coordinator had offered to resolve the situation, but they never got back to me. All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Overhyped place with very unprofessional staff. There are 2 packages on offer 900 and 1100. These packages include only food for all the other activities you have to pay extra which is of minimal cost like Rs 20 for camel ride or horse ride but the ride ends in less than 20 seconds. The games are for Rs 10 for 6 shots but they will not tell you when to stop so you have to keep attack of it otherwise you will be paying extra. I took 900 package and when we were seated the tables were dirty and even the mattress also was not cleaned. We asked them to clean it and then someone came after 5 mins to clean it. Also if you cannot handle spice food this place is not for you as the food is very spicy. They will not listen to you even when you will say to serve less food to avoid wastage. In the end everyone is expecting a good tip and they will directly or indirectly ask for it. So if you still want to go take the 1100 package so that you can have food at cleaner environment. For good Rajasthani food there are better options available in Jaipur City.

Without a doubt, this was the worst attraction, the most horrible evening we've ever had in India. Chokhi Dhani supposedly is a collection of "traditional Rajastani" experiences ; but in reality it is a Disney Land of fake, bored and rude actors, stalls selling kitch, rides through the dust and mud. Our agency had bought the 900rp entry tickets, which excluded us from entering the "better" restaurant ; instead we were seated in the dirt on plastic chairs and then got handed leaf plates on which food was slapped from buckets. Royal Thali ??!! We could not get out of this charade fast enough.

Pathetic experience. No point of going to such a hotel. A complete disappointment in the name of luxury and heritage. Overhyped. Definitely the worst hotel to stay in Jaipur as far as money, proximity to city, service is concerned. Their USP of selling authentic Rajasthani food is a joke. Their food is no where closer to what the actual Rajasthan delicacy is. PATHETIC!
