It's a really good experience. You can experience a lot of cultural activities like camel safari, elephant safari etc.

As much a cultural experience as a dining one. A huge area set out as a traditional Rajasthani village, with cultural displays, performances of dancing, magic etc, rides on elephants and camels, a totally engrossing atmosphere. The process involves arriving at opening time (6pm) to...fully engage with everything that is there. We arrived after 8 which meant by the time we sat down for the extensive buffet dinner, there was only one hour before it closed. Food was excellent, unlimited amounts (overate as usual), and alcohol can be purchased if required. One note of caution for foreigners. Chokhi Dhani is some distance out of central Jaipur, so give yourself plenty of time to travel there. Also book a ride home beforehand, as there are limited choices available late in the evening. Uber is not recommended here.More

Loved this place! I was expecting it was just a small restaurant, but when I arrived I was impressed! Was greeted by traditional Indian music at the gates, and once inside it was huge. There was dancing, food, animals, little boat rides, even elephant rides....The food was unreal, and a wide range of fresh cooked dishes. Fantastic atmosphere, with live music and dance performances with fire and singing. Overall was a blissful experience. Highly recommend if you visit Jaipur, do not leave without checking this place out!More

Chokhi Dhani village is good for one time visit. The entrance fee is 1100 rupees which includes traditional dinner. Since we visited on weekend it was heavily crowded. No place to sit and eat. We did not get the traditional welcome and place to sit...and enjoy the food. We had food at self service counter. The buffet ok. The camel, elephant, boat, horse, bullock cart rides are available each with additional ticket of 20 rupees. There are several traditional dance shows, magic shows, pottery and many activities to enjoy. This place is open from evening 5pm to 11pmMore

Worst place. Dinner tasteless. Price too high as compare to service. They charge 900 to 1200 per individual but you have to wait for 2 to 4hr for food. Even the show inside the perimises is waste of time. Infact I would suggest to visit...chokha Punjabi as an alternative.More

The visit was full of colours of Rajasthani culture...... with different arts and food varieties under one platform, I enjoyed it a lot and will suggest others to go once. The Rajasthani culture dinner was one of the best parts of the choki dhani visit.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a village experience! And I've been to a couple. By far, the staff is absolutely ill-equipped to handle the large crowds. Not one person in the staff is courteous or even remotely approachable. Not only is the...entry tariff high, theres several money grabs inside as well- popcorn, rabdi, even the giant wheel. And guess what, even after paying for the activity, the service was poor. We paid for our two kids to go on the giant wheel, and although every other party was allowed a compartment of their own, mine weren't extended the same courtesy. They were forced to share with someone who took up most of the room in the box and didn't allow my kids to enjoy the ride at all. While the experiences are nice, you don't really get a chance to enjoy it all. The dinner - well, again, the staff was poorly behaved and just treated us like an assembly line. The food was only mediocre. Wouldn't go back for that. Part of the reason, I believe, that the staff is so bad is that they are not allowed to collect tips, hence providing them with no incentive to even try to provide good service. Not that the 'No Tips' rule stopped them from demanding tips and having the audacity to frown at the amount of tip. All in all, it was a very, very disappointing experience for a place that I was really looking forward to on my Jaipur trip. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. And, honestly, this isn't what Rajasthani hospitality is about, I'm sure.More

It’s extremely crowded and expensive for what it offers. I found it a total waste of money. It’s like a desi village mela. People were not able to enjoy because of so much of crowd. It became like a mad house. One needs to be...very careful about their belongings. We lost our valuables there. Also not advisable in the present scenario of rising covid cases.More
