After so much popularity, the Kalwara family decided to add more rooms to serve more people. With the recent additions, the family also decided on opening their own fine dine, rooftop restaurant “Dagla-The Rooftop”. ‘Dagla’, a local Rajasthani word which translates to rooftop is sure to make you feel on top of the world. Besides our lip smacking menu, which is bound to stir your taste buds, “Dagla” has Nahargarh, Gad Ganesh, Mata ji and the majestic Aravalis peeping into your plate. The restaurant is located in the heart of the Pink City, in the famous Haveli Kalwara, a beautiful, well-maintained 250 year old royal Rajput mansion. The restaurant serves top quality dishes from Indian and continental

Love that it reopened, best for couples. Families should also go. 7 PM is the best time to get reach for the best seats. A very wide variety of drinks.

We had a magical wonderful evening here sitting on the lovely rooftop with great friendly service and fantastic food. To sit high above the streets of Jaipur listening to the sounds of the city with the bustling streets below one way, celebrations and fireworks going...off in another direction all the whilst sat in the tranquility of this lovely restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the value for money superb as well and we can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Thank you for helping to create a magical evening in the middle of your wonderful city and we will definitely return when we go back to Jaipur.More

This restaurant comes highly recommended & thanks to Miksa our Intrepid tour guide for taking us to dinner at this lovely restaurant. We were taken by our G Adventure tour guide to the house of the family who owned this restaurant first, we sat there, met the husband, wife and their 16 year old son. Very wealthy yet humble educated simple family. We had briefing about life...in India then we were allowed questions. Very interesting. We were served masala chai and water. Following that we walked around the corner to get to this hotel and rooftop restaurant. It was sunset time. The view from the top is spectacular. The decor is elegant and beautiful. Staff are very nice and attentive. Food is amazing and less expensive than many other restaurants we visited in India. That night was also the first anniversary of the restaurant so husband and wife came to the rooftop to celebrate with cake and music. We had the honour to share their joy, we thoroughly enjoyed our night there. I strongly recommend itMore

Lovely rooftop terrace, excellent food with a good choice of vegetarian and meat dishes, alcoholic drinks and cocktails. I can vouch for the mutton, which I am told is goat, the dish I had was lovely and tender. Good views of the fort and when...we visited many kites flying.More

They cater mainly to large tour groups and so the place can get noisy and busy. However we were looked after pretty well despite being a couple and not in a group. And we like noisy and busy so it was alright. The food was...pretty nice but service was really awesome. We went there for dinner every night because we were staying in the guesthouse in the same building.More
