As part of my 2 day tour of Jaipur my guide and driver suggested The Curry Spoon Restaurant for a quick lunch before heading to see some sights. I had the paneer masala and garlic naan. It was seriously the best. I’m actually drooling as I write this, and it’s ruined Indian food for me. The dish was perfectly spiced, not too overpowering; the portion was large and the naan was chewy and warm. Yummm!

We found The Curry Spoon on Trip Advisor and decided to try it out because the reviews were so good. We were so pleased we did! We were welcomed instantly by the friendly and professional staff. We were not in a rush, we just wanted to enjoy a drink then order some food then chill for a while before leaving. This was not an issue for the staff at all. They allowed us to take all the time we wanted, and did not pressure us to order, or to spend more money like some restaurants do. The restaurant was the cleanest place we have been to in India so far. The whole place is immaculate, even the toilets. The place is decorated beautifully with a really relaxing vibe. They offer a wide range of food including authentic local dishes and continental dishes. We opted for the stuffed tomatoes and the kadhi pakora and they were both so tasty and extremely reasonably priced. This is definitely a must visit if you’re looking for somewhere to eat or drink in Jaipur!

We met Janu at his Hotel and were amazed by his story! He is a heartful person and made us feel like royal guests for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed the tasty food a lot and visited the new restaurant which looks absolutely stunning. Hopefully we will visit again :)

The restaurant was very beautifully decorated, and this is literally the only positive side of the restaurant. The food is expected to be overpriced yet it’s more expensive than other tourist restaurants. The taste of the food is terrible, not just bad. It’s terrible. The chicken in the non veg plater is very dry as if they didn’t marinate the chicken at all. There should be three different flavours of chicken but they all taste the same just with different colours. The curry chicken of course was dry and a bit cold as well. It felt like that they just cooked the sauce and put the chicken in for a few minutes so that the sauce was warm but chicken wasn’t. The veg plater and Thali are actually eatable but they are very salty as if they put the salt twice. The thali food felt like reheated as well. The colour and texture of the food felt far overcooked. The restaurant tried so much overselling. They almost insisted me to have a pineapple juice, out of politeness, I ordered it. The glass is very small and it’s very sugary. Last but not least, the service was almost nonexistent, I had to go to the reception to pay. At the reception they mentioned so many times that service charge is not included, so you are forced to tip them. I highly do not recommend this place. I would have been happier with vegetarian street food.

The delicious food, rich ambience and amicable treatment by the staff translates your visit into an out of the world experience. A special mention goes to the owner Mr. Shabbir, who gave us some really good suggestions and ensured that we feel at home. Would definitely love to visit the place again in near future.

As travellers to India (from England) we only visited restaurants outside of the hotel recommended by our guide or driver! This newly opened restaurant was our last evening meal in jaipur and was a great one to end with! We were fortunate that there were on us and two other tables that evening (we saw pictures of queues at lunchtime!) So service was attentive including stories about the real marigold hotel (you will have to go to find out more!) We has poppadoms, a starter each, two main dishes, rice and namm and a few soft drinks (at the time of visiting alcohol was not being served). My veggie shish kebab starter was the best thing I ate all holiday! Spicy, tasty perfect. Main meals (both veggie) were good sized portions with good flavour (perfect spice for my wife although I would have preferred a little more heat) The restaurant is impeccably clean with a "new feel"...not even the plastic plates could put me off. You probably need to book but make it one of the first places you visit in jaipur, if you can. Great value at around 2000 rupees

We had the privilage of meeting Janu on our Trip to Jaipur this past week during Valentines Day. We had an amazing experience eating at this spot. The most important factor, the amazing food, came in both veg and non veg options. We had several plates of Chicken Biryani and the seasoning was to perfection. The chicken was so tender? Spicy, and smothered in delicious sauce. The rice was cooked and seasoned so well it was hard to stop eating. The restaurant space is clean, crisp, cool, and is an excellent setting for a casual dining experience or even a more formal casual dinner. The facilities are beautiful, you will feel comfortable and clean in the restrooms to wash your hands before dinner. This is a dining experience you cannot miss if you are staying at one of Janu's hotels or if you are staying in Jaipur.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Jaipur hands down! The atmosphere was cosy, accessed through a nice alley, nestled amongst Jaipur’s attractions. The food was amazing! Especially the Kadai Chicken and Chicken Biryani. Service was outstanding also, the staff were very nice and were at the ready to assist us every time. Prices were also great, would definitely recommend dining in if you are looking for a nice, chilled and relaxing lunch or dinner. Will 100% be revisiting The Curry Spoon on my next trip to Jaipur for future travels.

Going to India to volunteer at the Wildlife SOS Elephant Care and Conservation Centre, we went first on a sightseeing tour in the Rajasthan area. One of the highlights was eating at The Curry Spoon in Jaipur. The furnishings and decor were incredible - absolutely beautiful, and the owner, Manu, catered for our every need. He was courteous and charming. The food was delicious, the chefs creating tasty vegan food for me. I can thoroughly recommend eating at The Curry Spoon, and when I return to India, I hope to stay at the adjoining hotel where each room is uniquely furnished.

We found this place unexpectedly on our short trip to Jaipur. Can't express how pleased we were with the quality of the food. They adjusted the spice levels just to our needs as we love spicy foods. The cleanliness and service in this place was excellent. I would certainly go back to this place in a heartbeat. Great selection of items too.!

Curry Spoon in Jaipur is a gem! The restaurant's beautiful decor and peaceful vibe set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. The variety of delicious Indian dishes, not overly spicy, coupled with impeccable service, make it a standout. Reasonable prices add to the appeal, and the spotlessly clean ambiance is a testament to their commitment to quality. Highly recommend Curry Spoon for a memorable culinary experience in Jaipur.
