This place offers great South Indian food. Probably one of the best in the area. The only negative side is the rush here, so your order gets delayed. Other than that the dosa is too crispy and tasty and even the sambhar is great. A...place to surely visit.More
U surely need to be patient to get a table... it is mostly crowded on anytime of the week end you go.. but surely the wait is not bad as the quick hot south indian food is worth it..
The legacy continues after years also...rather it has improvised and added..
Filter coffee or the soothing hibiscus cooler drink is just perfect way to finish off hour meal...
No doubt on soft melting idlis and crisp crunchy vadas but not to miss is the poddi idlis ...More
Nice dosas and alss idlis for breakfast.. we waited for some time to get a seat, it was totally packed when we came. Mysore dosa is bed and goes well with chatnis and sambhar is also good. Nice place will visit again
Awesome,Authentic fresh and hot stuff. Went at 4.30pm and all the tables were occupied. Was asked to share a table with a solo guy. Was ok with it . Had some awesome pineapple Sheera, onion uttappa and some ginger and lime drink. Packed some medu...veda and dosa and their feed back was amazing as well . Very authentic, no frill joint one might find the service rushed a bit and they don't accept debit or credit cards . Overall amazing experience.More
If you are a die heart fan of South Indian food this a your go to place. They serve authentic south Indian food.
Ambience:- This is an old classic restaurant. No fancy material used for decoration they impress you with their food. This place is...a prefect example for "Don't judge a book by its cover"
Menu:- The popular item at this place are upma, idli and their filter coffee.
What we had:-
1) Rasam Vada:- Rasam here was kind of sambhar but little more spicy and thin. Vada was great
2)Masal Uttapa Dosa:- The uttapa had a filling of masala into it. The Uttapa was really heavy and you won't be ordering anything else if you order this dish.
3)Pineapple Sheera:- I had lots of expectation but they really failed. They should work to improve this dish. There were no pineapple pieces and the taste was also not good.
4)Filter Coffee:- You can't miss the coffee at this place You should definitely try.
Overall a good experience.More
