We did pick this restaurant because of the lactation, pictures on the internet. We didn’t know that most employees are deaf-mute until we sat down. We are the two days in a row and also ordered via a delivery app. Without kidding, all the staff...here provided the best service I ever experienced in India. The food was very delicious and some dishes had a modern twist. This an absolute recommendation!!!More

While the food quality is good and the concept is quite Nobel , they should really scrutinise the way their managers deal with their guests . They bring a whole lot of disrepute to an otherwise sensitive concept through their unpleasant and downright rude behaviour....More

Restaurant did not allow us to finish our meal. Said your time slot is over. Started clearing table, picked up plates I was eating from. Did not allow us to order dessert. Never returning.!!!

Loved the concept of the restaurant…as most of the staff are hearing disabled and they have the opportunity to work here. Food was great and the service was top notch. Not a big fan of the lighting though..this is one of my gripes with restaurants...in India. The lighting generally is too bright and there is a lack of intimacy due to it. But for the rest, this is a top notch place!More

I go to this place each time I visit Powai. I love the briyani, the kabobs and pretty much all the dishes the restaurant offers. And the service is very impressive.

i visited here on valentine's day (almost after a year) . I had reserved a table the previous day and got availability only at 7.30 pm. We were seated at the side wall area and felt that seating was a bit closer to other tables...which left little room for not overhearing others conversation. The entire crew is extremely courteous and very helpful. If one feels difficulty in using sign language the managers come and help place orders however the staff is really efficient. We had a mix tikki platter which was just awesome and malai paneer starter. The berry mocktail was well prepared and beer was chilled. So overall just awesome food.More

That the majority of the staff is challenged of hearing and speaking adds to the charm of the place. I must admit that the first time I visited the place I was overwhelmed and was not sure of what to order However the next few...times I visited the place I really enjoyed the set menu options and the wonderfully warm service. Visit Mirchi and Mime for an overall pleasant and fulfilling experienceMore

Went there with a couple of colleagues. I have to say that I have no idea of what my Indian colleague ordered but it was extremely good. Worth mentioning that this Restaurant is also doing a great social responsibility action. Go there and you will...understand what I am sayingMore

We booked a table for 10. We received a very warm welcome from the entire crew. It is a modern, in parts eclectic, restaurant with fine Indian cuisine at moderate prices. First time in my life I had a white wine from India (Chenin blanc)...which was very good. The waiters and waitresses are deaf and did a super fine job. Will return.More

I just lovely Mirchi and Mime's corn and waterchestnut tikkis - they are mouthwatering delicious. While they certainly aren't healthy (you can taste the fat while you eat it), they are yumm. I love visiting this place just for these tikkis. The staff is very...well trained and very helpful - they helped me with my allergies. The garlic naan is yumm too, so the food, while heavy, is definitely a sensory delight. Highly recommend!More

We have visited India many times and have always had good traditional food. Mirchi and Mime raised the bar significantly by providing upscale techniques to traditional food. Plus ordering your food in sign language is a lot of fun! We liked the place so much...we went back a second time and enjoyed it as much as the first. Our favorite was the Shakarkand and Chaat which was simply amazing. We also enjoyed the Dori Kebab which has a very unique presentation, the White Pepper Tikka and Chicken Angara. And, if you are a dessert lover, they can a very good selection including the 2-1 Nutella and Toffee Tart(s). Definitely make a reservation even if you think you don't need one. We didn't have one either time and were very lucky that the managers were able to squeeze us in, many thanks to them and our wonderful servers for the great food and experience!More
