Located in Fort, its a Burmese cuisine restaurant. Its bout 15 minutes walk from Churchgate station. Seating was good. Ambience good. We loved the decoration and umbrellas. Staff was courteous and helped in suggestions. We tried Samosa soup - It has samosa pieces with chickpeas tomato based soup. It was good. We also tried the Papaya salad which was peantus mixed. Quantity of servings are decent and can be shared between 2 people. Food very tasty. It is not very expensive. Definitely Recommended for Burmese food . We loved the restaurant and would be repeating.

We went on a Sunday evening. We tried Samosa soup - It has samosa pieces with chickpeas tomato based soup. It was good. We also tried Tohu Mash with Paratha - it was very tasty. Parathas are like Lacchha parathas. We also had “ Mohingar”- Traditional Favourite Dish of Burmese and Stir fried vegetables. Quantity of serving are large. Food very tasty. It is not inexpensive. Definitely Recommended for Burmese food .

Good good. Cutlery not handed with hygiene !

We went for the single diner golden menu. The soup was good. Salad okhay. Khawseu good enuf. Found the tofu starter way too tangy. But the bun was brilliant. The avocado icecream was mind blowing. Service wise,I personally found the handling of cutlery and dessert spoons far from satisfactory. They weren’t handed on a small plate but simply got in the common serving tray which was even used to cart away used crockery and cutlery . Simply not done.

A memorable evening

Truly Exceptional . We were here this evening ,my husband and I . It was very busy but we took seats at the bar area and ate there rather than wait on a table . It was a good choice as we could see close up the guys making tea and various coolers and drinks , it was delightful to watch the art form , they are Masters of their Work . The food I think I can say is probably the most memorable in a long time . Apart from being very pleasing to the eye ,everything was fresh and light & flavoursome . The staff were all smiling and pleasant . I read some reviews here where people complained about the wait time ,well just remember —- Some things in life are worth waiting for. Thank you Burma Burma for a lovely evening .

Had been for dinner yesterday. It is my favorite restaurant . Was disappointed during pandemic , I could not get home delivery (being beyond their delivery zone ) somosa soup was salty ( promptly replaced) . Desert brownie was too frozen and was hard like a rock . Are the standards falling ! I hope not .

Extremely arrogant staff

So, Yesterday we had the misfortune to visit this terribly overrated restaurant with extremely arrogant staff. We were a group of 6 friends, one being 6 months pregnant. We had called the restaurant a day prior confirming our visit to which they said, we don’t take reservations but you guys come over we will give you the seating arrangement. We reached at 9 pm. We were told we will accommodate you guys in 20-25 minz but we were made to 55 minutes. We repeatedly requested them that we have a pregnant girl, please give us preference. After making us wait for 55 minutes, the manager Mr Gavin had the audacity to say, if you can’t wait further please leave. We told him, every restaurant has a preference for senior citizens & pregnant ladies to which he responded saying- we don’t care what other restaurants offer, we don’t offer any such preferences. He was very very rude & had no courtesy whatsoever to even ask once, is everything ok, do you need any help. He made it feel like - There is no other restaurant better than Burma Burma in Mumbai. Such a shame on the restaurant & its management to employ such people. While we were in the restaurant, he did not even come once to the table to clear the matter. Anyways, our experience was horrible & I won’t recommend going there.

What a great restaurant! Food of Burma in a wonderful and lovely decorated room! Expect surpluses and surprises! Let you be guided by the helpful staff and enjoy the exotic tastes. Have a avocado ice cream to finish. Enjoy strange drinks, and no alcohol. Definitely a must if you love good eastern food!

Amazing food and ambience

Went for lunch here a couple of weeks ago with a colleague. We ordered a starter, khao suey and dessert. It was superb. The flavours of each dish were outstanding, and the place of honour goes to the desert, which was a mango based combination of different little items (eg. a samosa, cheese cake, mango icecream) Though it was all vegetarian, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Love the samosa soup. The place is spacious and the service is quick. The new branch at oberoi mall is very convenient. Even their mocktails are very good . Overall a delightful experience . They don’t take reservations on weekends so going there early mite help

Some of the best food we’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Small venue but lovely quirky decoration making for a nice ambience. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, the only difficulty was choosing what to order! Fantastic soups, starters, mains, salads, very interesting hot and cold teas and desserts also delicious. Great, friendly service and although one of the higher cost restaurants around, it’s fantastic value for what you get. We wish we were in Mumbai a little longer just to go here again! Thanks

Amongst the best vegetarian food I've ever had...excellent

There are a lot of new style eateries in The Fort Area of Mumbai. This has to be one of the best. We are not vegetarians, and BurmaBurma is. We did not miss meat for a second though, in fact the plates we chose had all the depth, complexity and texture of a meat dish....that is clever. I chose The Spring Rolls which came with a .lovely salad and my wife had Udon Noddles in a creamy sauce. And, much to the annoyance of my wife (because it was simply brilliant) I had a mocktail based on mint and fruit juice which was staggeringly refreshing. And save yourself for the ice creams. We had one chocolate and one salted caramel...my wife said it was the best ice cream she'd ever had. She was right. The surroundings are very stylish, the service as near perfect as it could be. Its only downside is that you need to get there early for lunch (it opens at 12.00) because every one in town wants to eat there...

Absolutely loved the sheer creativity of this pace. Though it was both completely veg and non-alcoholic, the amount of choice, freshness, taste sensation supposed any Burmese cuisine I’ve ever tried. A beautiful night out, but come early as there were queues at 8:30 when we left

Wonderful food

Relaxing vibe, attentive courteous service and fabulous food. We were new to Burmese and loved it. Tangy flavours with tea leaf salad, crunchy tofu bao buns and the signature curry - lots of teas to try and delicious inventive looking desserts

Delicious Burmese Cuisine !

A different cuisine ,, the food was quite delicious specially the locus stem chips , Khavse !! The staff is quite courteous and agile services . The only issue is waiting time .. we waited there for almost 90 minutes !
