Located in Fort, its a Burmese cuisine restaurant. Its bout 15 minutes walk from Churchgate station. Seating was good. Ambience good. We loved the decoration and umbrellas. Staff was courteous and helped in suggestions. We tried Samosa soup - It has samosa pieces with chickpeas...tomato based soup. It was good. We also tried the Papaya salad which was peantus mixed. Quantity of servings are decent and can be shared between 2 people. Food very tasty. It is not very expensive. Definitely Recommended for Burmese food . We loved the restaurant and would be repeating.More

Burma Burma One of the iconic Burmese speciality restaurants located in Fort. They've been holding a fan following of Burmese cuisine lovers since the last 5 and a half years. I visited here for the first time and absolutely loved the vibe and the food....The interiors are aesthetic and let me tell you guys, weekday or weekend, Burma Burma is generally full ! Talking about service, the staff is absolutely humble and will guide you to try the highest selling, their famous, recommended dishes to make your experience even better. What I Tried? ELDRAGON MOCKTAIL A subtle drink, kinda tasteless but that is something I wanted to have to cleanse my palate. Its a blend of Coconut water and dragonfruit. SAMOSA SOUP This was a tangy soup with mixed vegetables and a pressed samosa. Something unique. SALAD SAMPLER This had 3 varieties of salads - raw mango, Papdi and nutty. All were good. TOHU MASH WITH PARATHA Tried tohu for the first time and the parathas were so flaky and goid that I could simple eat them without any gravy / dip. TEMPURA & ASPARAGUS BUNS This could be slightly better. The sauce used and maybe more prominent taste of broccoli. The bao was a little dry. PANFRIED RICE DUMPLINGS This was again very unique more like a Burmese sev puri. Just kidding ! KHOW SUEY This is definitely the most recommended and their signature dish. Rich coconut gravy and toppings that you can add. I chose wheat noodles to keep it healthy. BURMA BOMBE This was a fabulous dessert ! All chocolatey and also salty with some seasalt caramel and almonds. The presentation too was amazing ! RANGOON BAKED MILK Again something different, baked milk cake topped with dry iced rose petals. Recommended.More

A smart Mumbia veggie restaurant with a fab menu including, as you’d expect, loads of vegan dishes. I had the mock duck and potato, which was packed with taste. Also had some lemon grass kind of rice (I forgot the specific dish) which rates as...one of the nicest rice dishes I’ve ever had. Taking a wider customer service perspective, this is sometime I find curious. My take of customer service around Mumbai has been that it’s friendly and inviting. Here, I would say the service was perfunctory. The staff carried out their duties effectively but it lacked the friendliness and warmth that I’ve become accustomed to. It’s as if there’s a view that, as a smarter restaurant, the more “hands-off” customer service is, somehow, more appropriate. Or it might just have been me as a tourist. Notwithstanding this, I totally recommend the restaurant for some top food at decent value in very pleasant surroundings.More

Beautifully decorated place serving excellent food with a true Burmese taste, although there are some creative variations from the original recipes that you wouldn’t find in Myanmar. However the overall taste remains very authentic. Apart from delicious food, Burma Burma also offers a very large...selection of different teas. The white lavender tea was delicious! And so was the Mohinga which we had! Overall, i can really recommend this place where so much thought is put into every small detail. I will definitely visit again.More
