This restaurant is my favorite restaurant. I like it more because this is the restaurant with indian cuisine to try. I been there 5 times and all the time i get love with the food. This restaurant is no longer suitable for foreigners as the staff being kept are not well trained to take orders over the phone. We placed the order with Naveed who clearly is in hurry to recieve the order and does not correctly note orders. The...food was delivered and was wrong order. when is informed about it is extremely rude and does not want to change his attitude. Has no hospitality skills. The food is extremely spicy and tasteless. During such difficult times during pandemic if the restaurant is not bothered about their customers then there are plenty of restaurants in Mumbai which are far better off. We had a lunch at this quite and solid place. The food was great. The service is quick and polite. The price is affordable.
We were pleasantly surprised at the Delicious variety of Indian Food that was available. We were a group of 6 people who really had a good meal with scrumptious desert as well. Our meals ranged from Chicken Tandoori to vegetarian as bhendi do pyaza and...subzi Afghan and Nan. We finished the meals with desert as Kulfi n gulab janum. All of us enjoyed our food. Balwas is a restaurant that has seen better days. The food both in terms of quality and quantity is a total disappointment. We had the Mutton Sheek Kababs which were eight on a plate but with the size and thickness of cocktail sausages. These were...brought to the table after which we had to wait for ten minutes for burnt parathas to arrive. The Mutton Masala comprised of three bones swimming in tasteless curry water, the consistency of Canine piss and only one of it had any meat on it. The damages were Rupees 913/-, tip Rupees 60/-, so close go a Thousand Rupees for dissatisfaction unlimited. Considering that Balwas operates in the cauldron of South Mumbai where competition is stiff, it needs to lift its game to give some satisfaction to its customers.More
The food at this restaurant is really authentic Indian good. The ambience is very "Nawab-type" but with modern facilities and toilets. The quality of the food is really nice and the chicken tikka that we ordered were very delicious, aromatic and tender pieces just melting...into your mouth. The wheat roti was very healthy and the daal was sumptuous, perfectly cooked with the right amount of spices and the taste lingered in our mouths perpetually. Definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.More

Balwas is a nice restaurant located at Marine Lines near the Bombay Hospital. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Good interiors with cosy settings. We ordered vegetarian food and found it delicious & tasteful.
Going dr was bad decision for dinner, total fish market serving is vry poor 1 hr fr 1 dish and also dy gve us frozen food never evr go to dis restaurant..
Food is yummy. Veg & Non veg. Prices are great Especially being in the city centre. Tasty & hope to return soon!!!!
