Visited with family. We had ordered Rava masala dosa and idlis Vadas and Pongal. All the items were prepared nicely and we get Jain food. They also serve filter coffeee and even sell idli and dosa batter. Service is quick. Only downside is seating arrangement is quite conjugated and shocking they only provide finger bowls for washing hands. No restrooms... More

Since the restaurant is located in Walkeshwar in South Mumbai where there aren't many South Indian restaurants, the place was crowded when we visited this place on a Sunday morning. After a reasonable waiting period, we finally got a place to sit. The menu mentioned items from various parts of southern India. We ordered two dishes: spiced up version of... More

One of our favourite venues for south Indian tiffin in south Mumbai. Once a month is a must do. A rather small room with benches and tables very close to each other. The food is very well made. The idlis fluffy is always our starter. Accompanied by requested for hot ghee and mulga podi(gun powder) they have an extensive dosa... More

The ambience is mediocre but the food is authentic and varied. Best South Indian food in south Mumbai. Quick and friendly service. Moderate prices.

Would recommend this place for simple and tasty vegetarian food. the huge variety of dosas, idli, uppams and other steamed, baked and pan fried south Indian breads range from delicious to honestly wierd. The sambar is on the thin side but nice and the occasional find of a drumstick lifts it. The chutneys are good as is the polite and... More

This is a small place at the teenbatti area. It's got limited seating. Often you need to wait. But it's much worth the wait. Good fresh hot idlis that melt in your mouth. Nei Idli or the ghee Idli is awesome...but soooooooooooo many calories. The sambhar was hot and the chutney not very spicy. It was great. Then we had... More

Basic in amenities but superb in food. The South Indian preparations are truly authentic and taste absolutely stunning. Steaming hot "sambhar" adds to the taste of main dishes. Our favourite is "Wada Sambhar " and "Rava Onion Dosai ". Good value for money.

Fast service, hot tasty sambhar with idli and dosa, new varieties of dosas, are some of the highlights. And top it all with a yummy falooda. It opens only on Sunday mornings for breakfast at 8am. Come and I will also show you Banganga water tank nearby - Jagdish Agarwal - Dinodia Photo School

If there is a place you get a excellent South Indian meal, this is it. All the usual South Indian delicacies are prepared to perfection with four different type coconut, tomato, onion and garlic chutneys augmenting the taste of the meal. And then there are the additional authentic items on the menu adding uniqueness to this restaraunt. Start off with... More
