We were 13 of us, 4 Bong families with kids who had booked them more than 2 weeks in advance. The lady had informed us that kids above 12 to be treated as adult and accordingly we told 9 adults, 4 kids. One kid of...14 we had mentioned as adult only. Today when we called them in morning to reconfirm, another lady asked us again the ages and this time she told till 10 is kid. When I told of earlier conversation, she said Sorry and informed that they will take it as 9 adults+4 kids only. The table was reserved when we reached. Ambience, food spread was quite good. There was a special Bong spread which we really enjoyed. Kids and us, all enjoyed. At time of billing, they enquired again how many kids. I informed them again. Then they asked to see the kids (basically asking them to be paraded so that they can judge the age and to ensure we are not bluffing them). I showed them where they are playing. They had a glance. They went back and then brought a bill for 10 adults and 3 kids. Thats when I thought enough is enough. It was not a matter of money but of trust, professionalism and etiquettes. They argued for a while over nothing....basically haggling and harassing. When we decided it is time to complain, they kind off stepped back and corrected the bill to reflect 9 + 4. The last taste is what remains and in this case the Sahara guys nearly ruined our Bijoya Dashami mood. Maybe they are under pressure to generate revenues by hook or crook but then they should at best call them a single star restaurant. It was a bad idea to dine with them and would not recommend to any families unless these guys becomes more professional and respectful in their approach. They never even tried to engage with us (other than std how was the food) or the kids. I had much better experiences with other great restaurants in Mumbai.More

I went to the earth plate with my friends for the lunch. The staff was extremely courteous and hospitable. The food was very good. Especially the Appetisers and Desserts. Mohini was looking our table. She is too good in terms of being friendly and warm...and anticipating all our needs. Definitely going back there again.More
