I booked a table for this mexican restaurant. When we arrived there was only one table occupied. The wait staff seated us but did not even bring us the menu or water. The staff were just talking among themselves or trying to sit other people...who were about to walk in. The service was very basic snd there was no recommendations or friendly chats. We asked for any item that could be brought to the table soon as one of the diners was extremely hungry. No solution was offered. We ordered a few dishes and they were brought to the table in about 10 minutes. The chicken harissa was average and I felt it was not cooked well. I had a taste of the vegetarian burrito and corn and bean enchilada which were again just average. I have tasted better. I would not return back to this restaurant. We did not try any desserts.More

We dropped by randomly at Poco Loco . The entrance was quite colourful and interesting . They have both open air and AC seating . Drinks In-house Cocktails-Espuma De Maracuya- Gin with fresh Passion Fruit Puree- Was refreshing but slight bitterness of passion fruit is...there which may not be liked by everyone . They even have Molecular Cocktails but our attendant wasn't able to explain the concept well so we skipped it . Starters & Mains Gambas Chimichuri - Pan tossed Prawns with their green in house sauce- Very good . Rollo de Aguacate -Avocado Rolls with Chicken Pate -Excellent taste and presentation . We wanted to try the famous Spanish dish Paella but we were told it would take 30-40 mins (same is mentioned on menu) so we opted for Da Loco Risotto-Creamy rice with Chicken and Chipotle dressing -Excellent and enough for two people . They have Sunday Brunch @1099 + taxes Good place for experimental foodies .More

A good addition of Mexican cuisine in Mumbai. Good options of veg available. Service was prompt and food was good. There is room for improvement, as the taste is missing that Mexican zing! Some of the veg dishes we ordered seemed like the same ingredients...presented in a different format. No freshly squeezed juices, just pre-packaged. Maybe in time things may improve. Mainly young crowd and gets busyMore

Poco Loco is now open in South Bombay ! This tapas bar will teleport you to Mexico . Their experimental cuisine is worth the try . The ambience is amazing & gives Boho Mexican vibes ! What we ordered & recommend - 1)Cottage cheese chimichurri...5/5 (360/- INR) - chargrilled cottage cheese (paneer) is tossed in their in-house chimichurri sauce (parsley, garlic, vinegar, olive oil, flakes of chilli pepper) served along with mint mayo & salad is outstanding . Paneer is super soft & we highly recommend you to try it . 6 pieces are served! 2)Roasted Veggies and Black bean tacos in soft shell 4/5 (455/- INR) - combination of simple veggies , spices & boiled black beans , sauces makes it a perfect nibble food ! you can choose between hard & soft shell taco , 4 pieces are served ! 3)Cazuela De Setas 4/5 (420/-INR) - portobello mushroom (a large mature mushroom with open flat cap) with cayenne chilli (hot chilli pepper ) & garlic is served with canarian mojos (combination of various spices used to give a different touch / taste enhancer of the dishes) this was a very unique mushroom appetiser & a must try for every mushroom lover . How to eat - take a spoonful of mushroom, garlic , onion mix , eat it & then take a bite of the bread / you can even apply the sauces / chutneys given on the bread and then take a bite ! 4)Mexicana Vegetables Pizza 5/5 (491/-INR) thin crust pizza topped with in house tomato sauce , chipotle sauce , loaded with exotic veggies & mozzarella cheese is a delight ! Highly recommend you to try it . The quantity is great & enough for 3-4 pax 5)Peri Peri Vegetables with Cilantro Rice 2/5 (492/-INR) - herbed rice is served with tossed vegetables and creamy peri peri sauce , we found the rice and sauce bland and did not enjoy the dish much ! Quantity is great , maybe if you add salt & pepper the flavours will get balanced 6)Chocolate Chilli Pepper tart 4/5 (300/-INR) - this is chef’s experiment dish and must say what a unique dessert . It’s sweet & equally spicy . Chocolate tart is layered with chilli jam & thick chocolate ganache , served with 3 dried chillies ! If you’re in the mood to try something wild & different then this is the dessert for you 7)Double Chocolate Mini Cake 5/5 (450/-INR) - Let me just start by saying - a chocolate heaven ! 3 layers of dark chocolate cake & milk chocolate ganache was an absolute delight ! Perfectly sweet & so gooey , the texture & taste was amazing ! We highly recommend you to try it 8)Nubes En El Ceilo cocktail (575/-INR) - It’s referred to as “ in the clouds” ! An experimental cocktail presented in a very unique way . It’s made up of baileys (Irishcream liqueur) , whiskey , milk maid & cinnamon powder 9)Passion fruit mojito (320/- INR) - a regular flavoured mojito , they have other flavour options too ! Perfectly sweet & refreshing > serves veg & non veg both > has a separate veg & separate JAIN menu > vegan , gluten free , keto friendly options > spacious seating > hospitality is greatMore

Having travelled extensively in Spain & Mexico, i believe my opinion somewhat counts. So i"ll start with the cons, The Seafood Paella was charred at the bottom and it was as if it was cooked with local garam masala, hence super spicy. I eat very...spicy food so it was ok for me. however this is not how paella is made. it literally looked like they poured shrimp curry over risotto & served it. Then the dessert Tres Leches, Very far from the real thing. By the way Tres leches does'nt mean 3 layers, it means 3 milks, as its made with 3 different types of milk. So what we got served as Tres Leches was an ordinary local birthday cake with icing put on a crusty base. i took 1 bite and that was it. I am sure most customers like it because they get served cake with cinnamon milk and just content for what they get, oblivious to the real thing. I ordered a campari with orange, which was served in a wine glass. didnt understand that as its served in a rock glass, but then thats ok. Pros : Ambience is very good for couples as well as for families & friends, The service is very prompt and friendly, the servers are always at hand. 5 star for that. The dishes, A la Gamba & Patata Tijuana were excellent. I did see a selection of Molecular drinks,, didnt try it though. I hope these reviews are considered for making their dishes better and to bring the real taste of Spanish & Mexican food to India.More

I had heard about this place a lot and wanted to visit it for a long time. Absolutely amazing and was totally upto my expectations. The food is absolutely amazing and the restaurant has a great vibe. They are experimenting with the Mexican food and...lord it is absolutely delicious. • Dulce Y Sal:- A great mocktail to begin with. Has a very sour and sweet taste which is absolutely delicious. If you love drinks which have sweet sour taste this one is totally for you. • Tinto Verano:- A mocktail which screams sour flavours. Absolutely delicious and totally worth drinking. • Poco Loco Harissa Chicken:- Chicken well cooked with perfect amount of marination. Coated in spices from all sides and absolutely worth having. • Chicken Habanero Buritto:- One of the best Chicken Buritto I have had in recent times. Stuffed and absolutely worth drooling over. • Chicken Pockets:- Chicken stuffed with mushrooms served with mushrooms sauce and veggies. Definitely on my favourite list. Absolutely worthy and would recommend it without any doubt. Churros:- I am a dessert person and the churros were absolutely delicious. Crispy churros topped with brown sugar served with chocolate sauce.More

Location - Khar, Mumbai Cuisine- Spanish Mexican Continental Seating Arrangement- Indoor & Outdoor - We selected Outdoor. Parking - Valet Pros - 1. Spacious Outdoors 2. Good Portion Size 3. Taste is reasonably good 4. Welcoming lady host Cons - 1. The manager was not...well trained. Went by his suggestion got a dish we thought we didnt intend to order. The server had much better knowledge of the menu instead. 2. Guacamole, Salsa is must for every taco. We had to call for them separately as they werent a part of taco we ordered & believe me their salsa is to die for. 3. Mosquitoes on outdoor section ruin the experience. The server got us coil eventually. 4. The complimentary dessert was unnecessary as it was hard & unbeatable.More

Poco Loco, A new addition to the city’s culinary scene. A chemistry-based Spanish and Mexican Tapas Bar & Café is all set to serve up some experimentally molecular concoctions inspired by Latin American flavors. With their entire menu dedicated to the Spanish, Mexican and Continental...cuisine this place is worth a visit. Considering the presentation and the taste, I think very places in the city have this kind of authenticity. A great range of options in both veg and non-veg sections. The names might get you quite confusing to be very frank, so asking the server for recommendations would be a great choice. My recommendations would be the "Enchiladas Gratinadas" & "Paella Valenciana". Absolutely worth the money and will definitely live upto your expectations. For appetizers, just go for the "Open Tacos" & "Loaded Nachos". We went for the chicken one and it did taste good. Also decent quantity between 2. Desserts are truly incomplete without their signatures "Tres Leches" and "Churros. It did live up to the expectations. Well prepared and well-executed, no room for any flaw. All in all, it was an amazing Tapas experience. Service was outstanding and the recommendations were on point considering our preferences. Worth a visit. Gracias.More

Poco Loco tapas and bar was a refreshing change from the regular restaurants I have visited in a while. For starters it is We were greeted by happy exuberant staff who were helpful and so courteous. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Both tastefully done...and have their own charm. . . What we had that day.... The mocktails we tried were Senorita - cranberry, orange juic7e, grenadine, and cream. It was subtle and smooth and very enjoyable with tapas. Dulce Y Sal - Blended with peach, apricot, blackcurrant purree, topped with orange juice and black salt. A sweet and tangy twist, so refreshing. Pollo loco Harrisa chicken Well marinated and cooked tender chicken pieces in Harrisa sauce. The presentation had a wow factor. Open chicken tacos - A very delicious and enjoyable dish with mocktails. For mains we had the cilantro rice and peri peri chicken. This was the dish of the day for me. A must order when you visit. Choco chilli tart - A tart with soft velvety chocolate with a kick of chilli. Definitely enjoyable after a scrumptious meal at Poco Loco.More
