Neel and tote on the turf are part of the same complex. The Indian food especially the non vegetarian varieties are excellent. Especially worth trying are the mutton kebabs and the Nihari . They could improve their selection of Rotis though.. add Naachni etc to...the roti menu. The wine we ordered was tasting bad and was of a different colour.. however the staff changed it cheerfully to a fresh bottle without making a face.More

SOBO just got an all new party place and it’s all things good. Friday night : Live Music Saturday night : Bollywood Music DJ Other nights : Board games (₹200 per person) Cuisine : Mix Cost : ₹2000 including drinks Alcohol : Reasonable (Beer kingfisher...₹225) Service charge : 10% Type : Party , Music, Happening dinners Recommends : Ramen Bowl 🍲, Sliders 🍔 Where : Mahalaxmi Racecourse We loved the vibe and DJ was such a chilled guy. We started The Chakna bento box which was papad and chutney and had Iski Uski cocktail : rum based . Loved it totally. We were less fond of the flat breads Next we ate Thai chilli potatoes and had a blast eating them. The paneer burger is again fab. The portions are small and so are the prices. We had a fab time doing it all. We vibed with the music. We ate ramen bowl for mains and loved it. The soup was on point with the spices. Also they have biryani and schezwan rice. For desserts they had, chocolate jalapeno fudge Trio of yoghurt mousse : Raspberrh , Burnt Tangerjne , Saffron pistachio Rs 285 Freshly baked chocolate chip cookie Rs 350 (We tried this , however more chocolate chips would have been better with some Nutella or sauce ) Overall, we had a great time. We are heading back again for a party night super soon! You don’t want to miss outMore

The restaurant was quiet when we went, but the private rooms around it were very busy. The room was very interesting in its decor The food was good and the service was attentive, but prices are more London than some parts of Mumbai!

Tote on the Turf, situated in the Mahalaxmi Turf Club, is beautiful in the surroundings, all green and airy, with a large dining area and another medium large party enclosure. However, the food quality was just above average and the service was below par.

This restaurant earlier known as only Tote now has super Indian food. However the quantities seem to have reduced. The service is good. Try the Ran which is mostly sold out.

Situated on ground floor near gate no. 5-6 of Mahalaxmi Racecourse is this formal and quietly elegant spacious dining place with outdoor as well as indoor seating options. The huge arches, decorative ceiling, artwork on the walls as well as old timey lamps throwing shades...reminiscent of early 20th century British castles, the ambiance is enough to win over anyone. Impeccable service and Fantastic food. There is more than enough authenticity in every dish to make one both aware of the rich royal foodie traditions of India as well as hook them to come back. Excellent use of spices and techniques ranging from broiling to simmering on slow flame for hours done for that perfect flavor. Vegetarians have as much choice as Non-Vegetarians. Started off with hearty Asparagus soup, lovely, creamy, silky. Complimented with beverages, best of the lot being Kokum Fizz and their specialty Homemade Ginger Lemonade, Soft, well-marinated spicy Angaara Paneer Tikka started off our starters round, followed by button mushrooms well rubbed with olive paste in Jaituni Kumbh, very meaty in texture and a pleasure to gorge onto. Absolutely loved Asparagus ki Galouti, THE most perfect veg representation of world famous Lucknowi galouti, served on a little maida bread so that the soft as cloud texture of asparagus could be enjoyed completely and mess-lessly :D The STAR of starters round is Kandahari Aloo, a dish I probably wouldn't dream of ordering on my own (it's just potatoes!) but this has to be THE BEST Aloo based starter we have ever had. Paneer Gustaba Kalia was my personal favorite with soft paneer kofta cubes in sour-ish tomato gravy Kashmiri style, Dad quite liked Hyderabadi Paneer aur Mirch ka Kut which was mildly spicy and had these flavorful Bhavnagri chillies to munch onto too, Nadru Shingada Palak brough lotus stems and water chestnuts in earthy spinach flavor to life, the most unique main course vegetable to ever have, Along with the regular Rotis and Naans, it is a pleasure to have specialty Indian breads such as Khameri Roti, Taftan and Afghani Magaz Naan (my favorite!) alongside Dal Panchmel (5 different types of lentils cooked together) Even though we were almost full by now (even on small portions), could not help but try their Nawabi Subz Biryani and absolutely LOVED it, with real biryani flavors, spices mix coming through - no over-garnish of dry fruits, no Kevda essence, no elaichi used, rather a true feeling of having real Biryani, Desserts were another feather in the cap here, with KALAKAND prying its way into our hearts (there are 2 different types here!) followed by rich, not-too-sweet, wholesome Bhutte Mewa aur Makahana ki Kheer (it doesn't get any more royal than this) and our combined favorite of Banarsi Thandai ka Rasgulla.More
