Mocambo Cafe is a charming little restaurant with a wide choice of tasty food. It may be not as stylish as the nearby Cafe Primo (we liked the food here even better), but Mocambo served good food for a reasonable price. And you can order a good glass of Indian wine or beer here. Sometimes that can make all the... More

Mocombo is one of the oldest cafes in the main city that have survived the test of all time and the place has still maintained its charm. I have grown up passing by Mocambo as my Mumbai office happened to be few buildings away from it. The place is bit expensive but considering the ambience, food and service, one will... More

I visited Mocambo Cafe yesterday on 22March 2017 for lunch with my mum and aunt after almost a year. The order was simple; Mutton Cutlets, Prawn Curry Rice and Mutton Pulao With Dal. The service was excruciatingly slow, yet we waited looking forward to a nice meal. The Mutton Cutlets arrived first. We shared them, awaiting our next two dishes.... More

We have visited this restaurant several times, and each time the quality and taste of the food excellent. As a western tourist, you have to explain clearly how and when you want your food to be served. The music can be too loud.

We ordered just two dishes: Country chicken and ham grill with potato and a Caesar salad. My wife and I enjoyed the meal. It was good for two and a half people and cost just Rs. 745. This cafe is a landmark and has been around for ages. A must try in the business district of Mumbai.

Sizzlers and Fish finger are my favorites. Drought beer and kings beer are also available. A good place to have lunch or dinner

In the fort area, a small and classic place where to have a good break for lunch, but the menu may be very interesting for a dinner too. In particular I suggest the deep fried crab claws. Place very clean with courteous service.
