Well, I visited this place a few days back. They serve only vegetarian food. The food served here is Gujarat Food and North Indian Food. We had ordered both the cuisines. The Gujarati Thali was very tasty and had a lot of items offered in...it. The North Indian Food was also served hot and Fresh. The quantity of the food was also good enough. The seating arrangement is huge and spacious. The food served was hot and fresh. The staff here is courteous and attentive.More

We really enjoyed the Gujarati Thali we ate at Samrat Veg Restaurant. The wait staff were very attentive, and continually brought around extra top ups. The Thali was really tasty - one of the best we’ve eaten! Thank you

Our guide recommended it as a top vegetarian restaurant and we were not disappointed. One pays a flat price like at a dim sum and the foods keeps coming not always sure what we were getting but the flavors were wonderful. Excellent service great experience....More

I had an opportunity of dining at this restaurant. Its purely vegetarian catering gujrati, jain, punjabi food. People mainly come for the gujrati thali which is Rs. 350 on week days. Dal, kadhi, were tasty, puri they serve after chapatis which means people would eat...less of it. Curries of potato was OK in taste, one of the curries was stale and I informed the waiter about it. The most weird part is they have deployed many waiters that stand and stare while one eats. This needs improvement, as Customers feel intimidated. Its one of the oldest restaurants in the chuchgate area. Couple of years back, the quality was really good, but recently it seems they have compromised hugely on quality compared to the prices of each dish. Nothing special to miss!!!More

I have eaten many veg thalis in India - and I'am quite sure that this was the best one so far! As well, the service was very friendly and attentive.

Restaurant situated on ground floor close to Churchgate/ Eros cinema. Has outdoor seating and inner AC seating. The starters we had chaat ( quite a variety) which was good. Then came the veg main course with roti, kulcha and garlic naan. Was nice but quite...spicy for my taste. Stick to regular spicy unless you like it hot. Ample space and staff quite attentive. Parking will be issue due to the metro works ongoing. Worth visiting if your in the neighbourhood.More
