we had gone to the restaurant to meet up with people and talk, it was a nice place with nice decor. the lighting was very dim in the area we were seated. the best part of this place was that we could tell the chef...directly our special diet needs since we were on a special diet etc. the chef mudit made very nice dishes for us , our friends ordered from the menu and their dishes were also very appealing. There was live singing there as well towards the end, then it became too loud after that. All in all we had a great time. thanksMore
Visited the cafe . Its simple interior decor , delicious food n heigene attracts .
Starters specially Dal chawal arancini , achar papad chutney mouth watering . In dessert Mawa bun cookie crust enough good .
Parking available .
I visited this place a few days back for an afternoon with friends. It has a warm and cosy atmosphere and comfortable seating. The waiters were very well versed with the menu. They were quite knowledgeable about the dishes which indeed is especially important, and...it was impressive as well. This place is all about twisting and reconstructing the regular known dishes and presenting them in a unique new way without hampering the authentic texture and flavour. We had Vada Pav Farzified, Bombay Bhel version 2.0, Mac n Cheese pakora bites as starters. All of them were very good especially the presentation of all the dishes was amazing. It was hot, crispy and tangy. A great delight to eyes and appetite as well.
In the mains, we had Daal with Garlic naan. The Naans was just average but the Daal was creamy and delicious. In dessert, I had a chocolate dirt pile served with chocolate sauce. It was great. Everything was good but the administration really must look in towards the cooling system of the place as it is a big hit in ambience especially in summers.
Value for money:4/5More
If there is one place I am in love with than it is Farzi Cafe, I am yet to have a bad Experience with Food at Farzi ,tried it in India and Abroad and the experience gets better Everytime ,
every time I feel I...will repeat from my previous order there is something new to consider and order.
Today had these 2 amazing dishes -
#BesanChilla served with #BihariChonkha chat - Watch the amazing chilla with this Chonka Chaat & another of my favorite - #DahiBada
In it's most healthiest version it can be.
Dahi vada served with the barley pearls and loads of curd with crispy #OriyaBadiChura , if you have not tried this miracle food please do, it's the best thing I have so far had at any of the #FarziCafes
Other than this had the dessert #Mawa Apple Custard , if you love coconut than you will absolutely love itMore
Great fun to dine at Farzi...the fusion dishes are quirky twists on traditional Indian food, served by knowledgeable and fun waiters. Some exotic ways to serve food we're really familiar with. Music and ambience were fun
OK so this is not a restaurant aimed at middle aged tourists. It's aimed at young people who want a club atmosphere with food and drink. They have a permanent DJ here and the music is really, really loud and really, really bad. It's such...a shame because the food is really, really good.
We came twice during our 5 day stay in Dehli. Don't ask! First night we had the Malai Lollipop, Murgh Kebab with Meringue, Achari Fish Kebab with Pomegranite Cream and Chicken Seekh Kebab stuffed wiith cheese. Everything was superb! Except the music. Did I mention the music? With two pints of beer ie. 330ml? the bill came to 2383 RS or £25.75 which is amazing value for such great food.
On the second night, we had the Chicken Fry in a bun, Butter Chicken Bao, Crumbed Chicken Pakora, Pulled Mustard Fish and the Peshwari Paneer Tikka. Again everything was beautifully cooked and so tasty. Just great modern twists on Indian classics. With two more beers, the final bill was 2600 RS or around £28.
So nice place, great food and service, great value, awful music. Take earplugs and enjoy the food.More
