Very calm place. Which is good. At least you can have a chat with your friends unlike other bars in CP. Very pocket friendly also. It normally costs 1000/- per head with food and drinks. Recently they have introduced new menu and some dishes are...very good. Overall a good place to have drink and chatMore
It isn’t big on space but once you take a bite of their delicious food (non veg), everything just seems better. we’ve tried almost all the festive menu has to offer & most of it impresses but GLITCHES exist. House special pineapple sangria is the...drink you might want to nurse along with your fried savouries. The amicable Manager who’s also a mixologist expert specially made this for us. He seems to know his stuff extremely well. From the kebabs, #gola jhinga kebab is the showstopper here, with recipe as enigmatic as this, it packs so much flavour, I’m hard pressed to find a word to describe the pleasure. it was so good! its such a shame it hasn’t made its way to the regular menu, but beg for it if you have to ! and try & lurk the staff to get you this !! Another #jhinga janabi was charred & spicy little prawns, well marinated & with a whiff of tandoor. #mutton & chicken brandy kebab, a well rendered version of dohra kebab, was moist and slathered on with butter before being grilled. succulent at best. We were willing to go the extra mile & gorge & hence wrap with biryani specials . #Machli Masabi biryani was tender , juicy & flavourful. the fish pieces were moist & flaky & the masala tempered with curry leaves & mustard was beautiful in every bite. but #Mumbai gosht pulav was a complete let down with death to hard pieces of mutton, but gorgeous flavour, also rice in this, as dry.. Both companied with onion tomato vinegar relish, creamy curd, mix pickle & poppadoms. All very tastefully done. The whole experience have otherwise been impeccable. Also the staff was tad under seasoned, they aint well versed with the new menu & the service was slow. Everything about the tap house is satisfactory but shockingly, the washrooms are worse you’ll ever experience . BEWARE !More
This was the first bar we found , cold beer and really pleasant and polite staff. Music in background not too loud. Didn’t try the food but certainly great for a beer before dinner
Though the location is in heart of delhi i.e. connaught place. However when it comes to ambience, facilities, quality and customer dealing. This place is surely gonna let you down on all those aspects. Especially on foods even if you mention that please donot put...some spices or some chillies, it goes unattended. Hookah was to be replaced thrice as it was not working. And then comes billing where struggle was hardest when surprise comes that 10% service charge is mandated and additionally GST @ 18% would be levied over and above Service Charges too. So be cautious and enjoy d drinksMore
Centrally located, prices are reasonable but many brands are not available. Service charges are high .Though Food and service is okay.
I recently visited Tap House cafe in connaught place.as I entered there was music bumping on.it was not pleasant in d beginning bt we found a seat at a place with a lighter music volume.there we could talk in a voice louder den usual.i m...not much into drinking and smoking.however each table there had people having drinks or hookas.my cup of tea was food and I absolutely loved it.frm manchorian to chicken tikka to chilli paneer everything was yummy.d quantity of food they offered was also good.More
Hands down to the best inexpensive place in CP. after reading all the reviews at the internet. We thought of visiting this place in the afternoon.Very helpful/friendly staff they served us the best and cheap beer. Food was also great Overall had a great experience...and will also visit this place againMore
Quick escape from the Connaught Place crowds. Moderately priced beer coupled with fair Western and Indian food. Free wifi and decent service.
We were a group of 6 friends looking for a place to drink, eat and chat for a couple of hours after work. Someone suggested this place and we gave it a go. The ambiance of the place is nothing significant but service is prompt...and responsive. They had variety in beer and vodka butu not in wine. the indian wines were out of stock. The main attraction there became the starters. The masala peanut is literally addictive. We also had spicy mushrooms and tandoori momos. Momos were really good with the perfect blend of spices.More
