I visit this place at least once every year and till date have always had the same good taste. the service might take some time as the place is always on waiting, but the wait is worth the prize you get hen you gulp your piping hot idlis or butter milk infused with curry leaves. Do try their thalis which are an easy option if you get confuse with the dosa variety. I love their Onion masala dosa, just ensure to tell them to put less ghee if you dont like too much ghee on your plate.

food is as usual ..very good..
this time we were there on a sunday evg.. there was a waiting time of 30 to 40 mins.. waitlist management needs a lot to be desired..
we learnt the reason for the wait time only after our turn came.
they took 15 mins to take our order and another 15 mins to serve..
so avoid weekend evenings if u r in a hurry

We had visited Connaught Place for some work. And as a ritual, we had lunch in Sarvana Bhavan again today (15 Jan 2021). We had ordered one Sarvana Special Fixed Thali and one Quick Lunch. A few items in SS Thali were there which were not in the Tamil Nadu Thali, which we had ordered on last occasion. Food was excellent (laajawab) and service, as usual, was excellent too.
The bill for one SS Thali and one Quick Lunch was Rs 500/-.

For years I have visited this particular branch stood in long queues and had a good time also but with time the quality has deteriorated in terms of food being really oily and with time you expect more variety to be added to the menu which is lacking.
having said that people still relate to this place being their first good experience for south indian food. Just hope they can try and work a bit on their quality. Service is quick once you get the seat.

Visiting Saravana Bhawan is always on the bucket list. It was no different even this time. Fortunately, there was no waiting when we visited in the evening. The hygiene standards are high, food remains the main attraction, the service is prompt and courteous.

We went here twice for Dhosa. The food was FABULOUS. This place is perfect for quick, cheap and DELICIOUS Indian food. Most of the patrons are Indians and it's always a good sign when a place is frequented by the locals. You may have to wait a bit for a table but the place is huge and the turnover fast. Give your name to the doorman, relax and do a bit of people watching as you wait. You may have to share a table but that is one of the joys because Indians do love to chat with strangers.

Nice place to hve quick meals. As people are ready to take order, serve you quickly and expect you to leave the place at earliest. Tea n coffee is very good. Good is also good. Difficult to find smile.

I had this rawa dosa last year with three types of chutneys. All were so good and lucious😋
Dosa was so cruncy and scrumptious. Loved it so much.
I am big fan of coconut chutney. It was also super delectable. Sambhar was ok.
Also, the decor of this place is so out of the box then some casual places 🥰

Visited this amazing South Indian place that serves really authentic and delicious South Indian food.
Had a South Indian thali, idli, vada, dosa and uttapam here.
All were amazing.

Very over hyped place.The staff is rude.We ordered lemon soda .We were given a soda bottle with lemon juice and sugar syrup on the side.The pineapple juice was not cold at all.They served the beverages very late.Overall food was not out of the world.Sagar ratna is much better.

After countless visits, I finally thought it was time to give this Connaught Place joint the review it deserves! Their South Indian food is truly divine - dosas, idlis, and filter coffee that's always on point! But what really sets them apart is their impeccable cleanliness, quick service, and spotless toilets (yes, you read that right - spic and span toilets are a rarity in Delhi, but they nail it!).
This place has become my go-to for a quick and delicious meal, and I'm so glad I finally shared my love for it with the world! Just a heads up: be prepared for long waits if you visit on a weekend or holiday - it's a popular spot, and for good reason! But trust me, it's worth the wait. Get here ASAP and taste the magic for yourself!

I was here with my friend for dry fruit dosa . It was delicious , hygienic and tasty. I love to eat this again and again. Every dosa lover should try this atleast once. Love it🍱

This is a veg South Indian restaurant in Delhi. In weekends, you will have to wait for at least half an hour for your turn. I did not find the food that much tasty as I heard about it. Probably I had better choice but yes, if you are in CP, can give this restaurant a try. They serve tasty South Indian food.
