Really good prices but still high quality Japanese food. Maybe not in the absolute highest league, but definitely as good as it gets for the good value prices. Fresh lovely sashimi of tuna, salmon, sea bream and butterfish. Great gyoza, good tuna tartar and nice sake.

Went to Fuji for lunch. The restaurant is located in the drab surroundings of middle circle CP. The ambience immediately enhances the mood with its simplicity and neatness. A hallmark of a good Japanese restaurant. Now was it only the 'Looks' - let's unfold the rest and see. The menu is extensive which is also in Japanese and interspaced with photos which is a good thing. Lots of Japanese dining so I guess we were at the right place to explore this cuisine which is expanding its footprints as is the bullet train in India.
Started with an orange fruit wine and the wasabi virgin Mary. Wine was ok but the mocktail was excellent with the wasabi giving it a new direction- Far East! Ordered a plate of Prawn and vegetableTempura. The tempura batter was thin and almost translucent. The prawns were generously sized and fresh. Vegetables ranged from okhra to carrot. Ok with its dipping sauce. Next we tried the bacon and tomato yakitori. Two skewers where the flavours of bacon and tomato blended very well. Next we ordered mixed variety of sushi rolls which were all flavourful. We ended with the fried ice cream which was tasty and crunchy but a layer of sponge between the crust and ice cream sort of diluted the purpose. The service was efficient and courteous. The restaurant gives you an opportunity to taste fresh and authentic Japanese food without burning a hole in your pocket. Well worth a visit.

The Middle Circle in Connaught Circus appears a bit cheerless. Let that not deter you from trooping in to Fuji for a perfectly satisfying meal. The Rainbow Roll - salmon, tuna, yellow tail, avocado - is a good start for two people. Sharp wasabi, soy sauce with body to go alongside. My wife and I both went with Pork Miso Ramen - nice, homogeneous broth, soft noodles, three large slices of pork loin, corn, spring onions. The pork could have been a bit more tender, but I wouldn't hold that against them. Surely worth future visits.

I feel writing a review is usually backed up with a strong force. It could be out of gratitude, if someone has asked for it or out of disappointment. In my case it is out of the latter one. We happened to visit the restaurant around noon and I had brought my friend out of excitement but all of it was ruined by the behaviour of the staff. They weren't really interactive to suggest or recommend. Food was 2.7/5. Ambience 4.2/5 And Service 1.2/5. My friend said it was the worst hosting ever encountered. I feel being polite and respectful is something taught first in the school of hospitality.

If you are think a vegetarian cannot enjoy Japanese cuisine - Fuji is right place to prove you wrong! Specially handcrafted Japanese veg menu is perfectly suited for a vegetarian like me! Take the feel of Japanese culture in their traditional sitting area and must order sushi and kake udon/soba.

Very nice place, with helpful staff who will guide you with the selection and eating. Had salmon roll sushi and chicken in teriyaki sauce. More than enough for one person. The menu has a lot of variety. I enjoyed the food even though I was eating Japanese food for the first time. Not out of the world expensive either considering everything. Highly recommended.

Last night in India I thought I'd give Japanese a go. Was with a friend who doesn't do spicy so it was great for her. Mid-priced (slightly exy for India) delicious food with impeccable service and lovely surroundings. We enjoyed the food and the service very much. Perfect if you need a quick break from all things masala!

Man this place is so good. I had first heard about it from a friend and had decided to come here over a year ago. The experience that i had last year was magnificent but ever since that i had no time to return here. Being a indian who loves japanese food(there are not many) i craved for it for a whole year. And now i finally got the chance to visit once more yesterday and man i felt like i was in cloud nine. The food is really good and the whole vibe feels like you are in japan. The servers are good and friendly too.i ordered the udon, 9pieces sashimi platter and 4 pieces sushi along with tempura soup and ofcourse edamame. Now the only thing left is for me to go to japan and see the real taste and i can assure you that this beautiful restaurant has really assured that i will come here back again
Ps- According to indian law, it is upto the customer to give service charge and this restaurant adds it according to themselves. So if you see it in the bill ask for it to be removed because it is not mandatory.

We ordered Bento box & it was perfect & authentic taste also .Quantity is enough .We also oredered Hotpot & combo platter .Really very delicious with great presentation .Waiters were friendly & got a good seating also .It was really a memorable christmas lunch .

Had been here with a Japanese colleague for lunch. The ambience is good and food is good. Being an Indian, one may not like many things on the menu. But there are things that is close to Indian food. Had a Japanese chicken curry, this comes with rice and it tasted good. Look forward to try other dishes as well.

Its a fine dine athentic japanese restaurant located in connaught place middle cirle.
the staff Tsering explained and suggested the platter as we were exploring this cusine.After his suggestion we ordered sushi platter,portion was enough for two of us.liked it.
higene was taken care adequtly ,well maintained rest rooms!!
