The saying ‘together everyone achieves more’ stands true here! Nirmal, Santanu, Shiv, Nihal, Ansh and everyone else on the team made me want to go back to Fio. Not just for the food but their outstanding service! Everyone is so positive! I loved the vibe....It was so fun that it got late so quickly. I recommend their pizzas and cocktails and don’t be afraid to ask for suggestions! I guarantee they won’t disappoint you!More

Delightful ambience, beautiful interiors, warm and hospitable staff and lovely food and drinks! The place in the evenings is very romantic with the way the lighting and seating is done! The head mixologist is an absolute charmer and whips up special cocktails on demand. The...food has some interesting innovation too and can be quite a treat to the palate. We had attended an ushering in 40 party which was quite a charming way to celebrate indeed and the staff did all they could to make it special. The DJ though did have some run-ins with the crowd as he was just not acceeding to play Bollywood or other classy English numbers and just kept playing Punjabi. It was a rare Delhi occasion where the DJ could have had a free run with great music but limited himself to playing Punjabi. But a night to remember indeed!More

We recently dined at Fio for lunch on a weekend and were fairly disappointed with the quality of food. The restaurant has an impressive range of cocktails and a bar menu, so a drink is recommended. For food, we ordered Tapas Romano, both vegetarian and...non-vegetarian (I preferred the vegetarian - even though it was slightly dry - but every non-vegetarian food item was spicy). The main included Basil Pesto vegetable pizza (recommended), Prawn Linguini (prawn was dry and linguini too spicy) and vegetarian risotto (again, spicy). Unfortunately, the spice levels were too high and we were unable to taste the food properly. The dessert included flourless chocolate cake (recommended) and apple tart tartin (apple was too strong in flavor). The best part of the meal was the coffee, which is served on a beautiful individual platter with a nice cookie. The service was great and the ambiance is relaxed.More

I visited Fio Nehru Place on 2nd May for Dinner. Food was great and we had a good time at the place. We came back home and later when I checked the Bill, I was billed rs 275 per drink for Diet cokes whereas in...the menu the price was 195 per drink. I faced a similar situation in one of the prior visits also, few weeks back where at the time of Billing I was carefula and had to get the number of drinks corrected.More

Fio turned out to be pleasing and disappointing at the same time. It has lots of space indoors and outdoors with seating arrangements comfortably laid out, the decor is pleasing without being overpowering and the staff is quite courteous. The joy and the disappointment were...occasioned by the kitchen. The mutton in the Tawa Meat Amritsari was soft enough to melt in the mouth and had all the right spices. A dish to be savoured; but the Varki Paratha (delicately flaky unleavened white bread), that goes so well with it, was missing from the menu. The chef said the Paratha takes long to prepare and they just didn’t have the time. Another dish, something called an olive crusted sea bass was a complete disaster. The fish had not been seasoned properly before adding the marinade resulting in a medley of unseemly tastes and smells in the fish which were worsened by putting it on a bed of quinoa. Another tragedy was the mixed vegetables which the chef had left raw (perhaps in the mistaken notion that they would be crisp) rendering them inedible. To sum it all a restaurant where every prospect pleases but the cooking fails to please.More

Went to have dinner y'day at Fio, Epicuria, Nehru Place. Blaring music at the entrance greeted us. We chose to sit outside as it was less noisy. Both food & drinks menu looked impressive. In drinks, I asked for Kir Royale. Server was clueless. I...politely asked to get the bar tender. My friend asked for one Australian white (Luz Maria). Server came back to inform Luz Maria unavailable, it's an old menu, they're restocking & will come up with new drinks menu soon. Weird!!! I explained what's Kir & requested bar tender to make it with non-Indian white. But he insisted that they use only Indian whites for such cocktails. Drink was a disaster. In food we started with tapas - Chimichurri Mushroom Arancini & Butterfly Prawns. Veg dish was rice ball deep fried with very tiny hint of mushroom. Butterfly prawns looked more a riot of greens with lot of rocket leaves heaped on to make the dish look big but only 2 small prawns. In main course, we asked server to give us Moroccan Hot Pot. Server insisted we choose some other dish in addition. Why? Was he overselling? My friend being lactose intolerant, it was not mentioned in the description that it could contain cheese. On being asked later, the manager rudely informed that 'pesto cream' is but cheese, which is untrue. Later we ordered sea bass main dish for my friend. On being asked to strike off food that we didn't consumed, manager informed that's not possible. He only didn't charged for the awful drink. And not a single word of apology thereafter. Mr. Vineet Wadhwa is looking for funds to expand Fio, but reckon he should first set his house in order. If Fio has to become a brand, then more than funding lot has to invest on staff training, not cutting the corners & deliver value for money. All dishes & drinks are very highly priced vis-a-vis actual quality & service rendered. Hope management take serious note of this feedback & work hard to remain in biz. Hospitality & service industry is all about happy, satisfied customers - no matter what.More

We visited this place for a brunch and it turned out to be really pleasant. We decided to sit out in the garden area in a cool sunny afternoon and ordered a few cocktails. They were perfect. So we went for the meal...Italian salad and...Pizza. Pretty good again both the quality of food and service. A quiet afternoon with my son, very well spent. Will return again when In Delhi next time for sure!!!More
