The soft shell crab was average. The Lemon Coriander soup was not bad either. I liked the quality of the noodles and rice. A lot of Chinese restaurants will have fantastic appetisers, chicken and seafood but the rice and noodle quality is not up to...mark. The ambience was amazing; the waiters were well trained and responsive. However, the surprise element was the desserts. They were to die for. I was in a large group and we tried everything. We ordered all the desserts for a second round. The quantities of food and desserts are rather small and an average dessert is Rs 500.If people think the big chill, whipped and the colony bistro have the best desserts. Try them, you're in for a surprise.More

seeing the food quantity the restaurant was expensive for buffet. Al-a-carte should be better, also buffet had limited choices.

We celebrated an important occasion here in January 2015 but unfortunately this restaurant is now closed. Sprawled over 3 floors we were hereon a saturday night and strangely enough we were the only table. Having eaten here before we confidently ordered and expectedthe food to...be as good as we had previously tasted ut we were in for disappointment as the standards had clearly dropped. I wish they would have picked up their game before it came to this but whatever will be will be...More

We went to this restaurant few months back , the place was not full at all . They have huge sitting area , spread on different floors . We tried lot of things . The food was ok , nothing great . But staff was...not ready to serve at all , didn't get the good feel about the place , since we had to push staff to take orders , to serve food . I think good service is certainly the main part of good meal . Hopefully they will improve on this major weakness of theirs .More

Sunday is usually a day for family lunches and today we were all in the mood for some Chinese. All my visits to Hao shi Nian Nian have always been spectacular so today also I planned the lunch at this restaurant. As always, the staff...welcomed us warmly. It was just so many of us so we ordered quite a lot. For starters, we ordered Sichuan hot and sour soup ( with just the right thickness and not gloppy at all), pork ribs in barbeque sauce, which were so tender and mouth watering, and konji lamb. For main course, we had prawn in ginger and spring onion, suizhu fish, oriental veg wok tosses in garlic, ginger mushroom rice and hakka style noodles. Every dish in the main course too was just delicious. Now about the service: One thing that should be done in all restaurants but is more often than not forgotten is the changing of plates between starters and main course. The staff here ensures every time that they don’t forget to do this. They also provide personalized attention and courteously keep serving food when they see us finishing our portions. Such pampering feels good once in a while and ensures that we keep coming back. Hats off to this place for maintaining consistent food and service standards.More

As we sat down we got a positive feeling that we would get to savor some good Chinese food. But things did not happen starting with the soup - lemon coriander and asparagus soup, sounded great and different from general what you get. But what...we were served had no asparagus - when I raised it with the staff they seem to ignore what I was saying. Rest of the food was good, but I had no appetite after the soup debacle.More

Bored of eating the usual version of indianized Chinese, I wanted to try some good authentic Chinese. Read on one the food blogs that this place serves the kind of food I was looking for, I decided to go check it out. The service was...extremely courteous and polite. Given that it was four of us, needless to say it was a tall order. But they managed to serve promptly and without delay. We ordered prawn wonton soup, crispy prawn with dried chilly and garlic, Cantonese style siew mai dimsums, vegetable pan fried noodles, diced chicken with mix vegetables in a chilly oyster sauce and shuizu chicken. Everything we ate was terrific. The chef came out to personally meet us and take feedback. We loved the food and the service. It was a great break from the other places. I hope they continue to maintain the authenticity of Chinese cuisine.More
