Had lunch here and what a pleasant surprise. The menu is a combination of Indian, Chinese & Western with prices a little on the higher side.
Good selection of alcoholic drinks are available.
I sat inside the restaurant & as it was a sunny day the garden area was completely booked out.
Service was efficient and the food spot on.
Across the road they have a party area and a wedding hall adjacent the restaurant.

Stopped off for lunch at recommendation of tour guide (following visit to Humayun's tomb). Good food, very tasty and good service. Food arrived very quickly. They also had an outside space which was being used for engagement party (perfect timing for us), gave us an insight into Indian culture.

Beautiful garden. The food was pretty good, the service correct. We liked the area and the sitting outside. Good place!

I went there with family for lunch. They don't have much options on vegetarian North Indian menu. Food is not that great as they are charging rates. The most painful is after having lunch I had to wait for my car from their parking for 25 minutes as valet had parked my vehicle somewhere else as they don't have parking space.
So overall very bad experience.
Please don't waste your money as there are better options available around.

A very good place to have a family dinner or lunch, not very expensive but a bit on the higher side, the ambience is something really classy and I would recommend continental food here, which is delicious, nonvegetarians can have ample amount of options to choose and all are really good.

Visited for a late lunch on October 8. We were a group of 5 and the restaurant was not busy. We ordered our food and drinks and had to wait a long time for service. No papads provided. No serviettes until they were asked for. Had to remind them 3 times to bring me my drink. Food was ok. Wouldn’t visit again.

We had visited the Indian, the cake shop, the Deli at Essex Village too often and were looking for options. However, the central location just under the Aurobindo Marg flyover and ok-lets-do-it situation dragged us back in. Hence the choice of Yes Minister, the gaming place and bowling alley.
We went in to a small group playing and workers hanging from the ceiling hammering stuff in.
It quietened down in a bit and the group left. We asked for the music to be stopped. I ordered a penne aglio with smoked chicken and mushrooms. My colleague ordered what is basically a pao-bhaji: a popular Mumbai street food but unusually plated carved out in half a loaf of bread!! Food was outstanding, served quickly by attentive waiters and overseen by extremely courteous managers.
Would we go back again? Absolutely- I would recommend it for casual business lunches as it is informal, you can layout your papers and they don’t rush you out.
It’s got a good collection of beers and a cricket bowling machine - if that’s your thing!
And as I say, what’s not to like!

One of the most iconic places in Delhi with a revamped look. You will feel the chills if you have been to this place while you were a kid. Located in the heart of south delhi, easy noticeable from running traffic. The service is slight poor, I would say 3.5 on 5 but the food makes up for it. It just oozes with flavour and makes you want to order more. Also, it offers Zomato gold so that adds up as a huge plus point.

A 4 star restaurant in Delhi should be able to keep away flies and mosquitos in the summer heat. I had flies buzzing around our food and mosquitos biting me everywhere and circling above my head at the table. Complained to the staff who were busy watching the cricket match and they responded by saying that the entire restaurant was like that not just our table and they had put a small mosquito smoke repellant on the floor in the far corner of the restaurant. Not very much help. Food was fine and I don’t fault the chefs but the front staff and manager need to reassess how they deal with a common Delhi problem if they expect customers to enjoy their experience.

Essex village is surely one of most perfect restaurant in terms of food and ambience . With such a top notch ambience and such helpful staff this place definitely deserves a five star rating . In starters paneer tikka , chaat platter ,for non veg lovers prawns are a must try .
In main course murg badshahi with garlic naan were the stand out for us . Had a great time out there with my friends and recommend u all to visit this place atleast one time and enjoy the experience .
