This is a must visit place for an old school eatery that my family has been visiting for generations and is a must do for their Shami kebabs and Chicken Patties

I would have given Wengers a 5/5 any given day for the food and pastries the 1 star I didn’t give was not for the quality of their food or pastries it is how poorly managed the shop really is! Always over crowded ( for...obvious reason) but the billing, managing parcels and shouting over other customers to get what you want is quiet sad! Must try at Wengers: pineapple pastry, Black Forest pastry and melt in the mouth eclairs (if you ever find it in stock it pretty much sells as soon as it is out). In patty section you must try their veg patty ( I hate mushroom in general but if you don’t then try that it’s good too). Their patty is super fresh, crispy on every bite and since everything sells out at Wengers you will always find fresh patties and pastries here! This oldest bakery is a must eat in DelhiMore

Since I was a kid, my parents have been taking me to Wengers. I love the chicken patties and sweet treats. This place is perfect place to try delicious snack foods with your friends.

Requested a friend to collect an almond cake,fruit cake,fruit buns,veg patties and croissants from Wengers bakery yesterday 16Oct,2020 around 11am,Was shocked to receive all stale goods.Called the store today and Kamlesh wasnt really apologetic or helpful.What a fall my countrymen!

This is a relatively new establishment compared to their older bakery establishment. The interiors have been done up in a nice stylized manner. The people are friendly. We had sandwiches and potato wedges which tasted great

On my recent visit to Connaught Place along with my friend we visited the one of the oldest bakery, located in the heart of the city namely ‘Wenger’. This is the oldest bakery in Delhi. After visiting there I realized why the place is so...famous. I was amazed at the options available there. The place welcomes you with a fresh aroma of cakes, pastries, patties, doughnuts, pizza fresh dough as well as chocolates and caramel toffees. Wenger’s has got some exquisite bakery items and confectionery items; the taste remains to be one of the finest in town. You may try mutton Patty if non-vegetarian or mushrooms Patty if you are a vegetarian. Everything here is fresh and tasty from sandwiches to cakes to cookies to chocolate. We end up buying their famous chicken patty and strawberry mousse, which indeed was the yummiest version of strawberry mousse. Those amazing food items bring a smile on your face. They do not have any other outlet in Delhi. There some drawbacks, as well as this place, is always overcrowded and no one from the staff bothers to maintain or arrange it or either they need to be trained on it, another drawback thing which is bad there's no seating arrangement or washroom. Tit o add up to all you’ll be bewildered when it comes to billing the items (It’s a total mess and craziness). Looking at the mismanagement feels this is little overhyped place. Best place to be. Must try Shami Kabab Pastry - Pineapple, Strawberry Great Patties, Great Texture Great Bread Loafs It is a famous place, therefore, at peak days. It is stuffed. Perhaps, the place is worth waiting for.

A friend had recommended this place. Was shocked to find it 'packed like sardines' 10 minutes to closing time. Being clueless what to order, asked for recommendations. I was speechless by the kind gesture of free chocolates given by one of their senior staff,upon hearing...its my first time here and had come for a brief trip from Africa( rarely observed) Had the Napoleon & pineapple pastry. Still relishing the experience. :-) I should have gotten more. Definitely worth it!More

Went in here during a walkabout of Connaught place. The chicken patties I tried out were outstanding There was a great choice of other baked food and cakes and pastries . The place is very popular so expect a wait to get served

I tried some waffles here which was very very good and try some best juices. And i recommend you to all once visit that place.

A must visit confectionery shop, if one is in or near Connaught place. One can visit Connaught place Wenger has maintained their quality since many years now. Must have Shammi kebab, mushroom patty, cakes and macaroons Most of the items have egg, very few items...which pure vegei This bakery has unfailing followers of middle and upper age !! I really wish they have simple system !! they have very complex system !! Three line process, first of placing order at one counter in queue and taking slip. Second line for payment and again to counter for pick up. Three lines. It is a pain and time waste to get in a queue for slip and then again in next line for payment, then and again another counter for pick up line.More
