This place is situated in te point of the lake far away of the city centrum (and not so as the tripadvisor map says in the middle by the big temple!)! But to go there is worth every effort. What a good food. The locals come in for the take a way, tourist and travelers sit and have the good,... More

Nice place with a variety of local foods and juice bar. Food was very good. Kottu and Rotti are the two things I am gonna miss most from Sri Lanka.

Very nice for a few cheap dishes and a juice on the lake...Great hoppers and potato curry. Perhaps a little sanitised to cater for the nearby big hotels but great nonetheless.

This is a cracking wee cafe. Lots of noise - mainly from the Kottu chef, atmosphere and the food is excellent ....and very cheap. Its always busy with tourists and locals (a very good sign in my book). Service is fast and efficient. Egg and cheese Kottu with a sweet Lassi. What could be better....probably a hopper but they'd sold... More

Great chicken kottu and service was great, shame the location is far away from most guest houses and the city but otherwise is great.

More places like this in Kandy are needed. The Devon cafe is probably a close equivalent. No toilets for the public, no alcohol and believe me that is a good thing... Food is tasty and I have enough confidence in the hiegene, including the plates and cutlery. Service is quick: tables are cleaned frequently and reasonably fast. It is a... More

The Kandy Garden Cafe has really nice food and awesome fresh mixed fruit juices !! You just have to be a bit patient because the drinks and the food can take a bit time. Next time I would probably go for a take away!

We stopped here after a play in Kandy park for the children. They serve lots of traditional Sri Lankan food. We had hoppers and the staff allowed the children to see how they were made. An underrated little place that we will be visiting again when back in Kandy.

Great local place. This is not a restaurant of you want that go elsewhere. It is not a fancy location but authentic food that is cheap and easy. Locals coming and going with their take out service. Nice to have a curry that hasn't been westernised and made too mild.

This was the worst experience in a restaurant ever! After ordering the food I asked for the beverages menu which they didn't bring me in fact. Alright, it's Asia, I thought, so I went to the counter with the drinks on my own. I ordered a chocolate milk and the waiter brought me a vanilla one. Alright, it's Asia, I... More
