We had a wonderful evening meal here, the food was very nice and plenty of it and the wine list was also very good. The front of house/manger was very charismatic and very helpful too negotiating taxi rates on our behalf. A lovely quiet evening...More

A great place for a small group between 1-4/5 people. Quiet, cozy, comfortable, and local people also stopped by for dinner. Food was good. I had fish soup and vegetable pastilla, a small bottle of wine and finished with Moroccan pastries (on the house) and...More

High prices, small quantities and average cooking. Absolutely no reason to come back. We were served fast-food frozen fries, a handful of over salted meat and a diluted pumpkin soup. Very disappointing. Also, at some point, our eyes became itchy and we started coughing which...More

Jean-Pierre, the proprietor, is a very friendly guy. He taught us a few Berber words for our upcoming trip to the desert, and as we left he gave us complementary fresh pastries for the long drive! A beautifully decorated establishment, covered in memorabilia of French...More

We stopped in Ouarzazate for a quick lunch and lucked out with Relais Saint-Exupery. We ended up with a delicious and fairly priced meal.

I feasted on Chevreau M’Kalli, soupe glacée aux concmbres and tarte citron at Le Relais de Saint-Exupery, and investigated the memorabilia of the author of The Little Prince, including a photograph of the author with his Caudron Simoun, a 1930’s French four-seat touring monoplane, at...More

The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming. Two nice surprises which we are thankful for: the hand-made good-bye cookies were a friendly gesture from the kitchen after we decided not to go for a desert to end the rich menu. I lost...More

Ate here on the last night of a trip to Morocco. Until that point I'd felt a bit disappointed with the food in general and was tired of the usual dishes served everywhere - skewers of mincemeat and mediocre couscous etc. This was really something...More

Our hotel booked us a table here. We were the only customers which was very odd and the rest of the place was dark and cold. The three course menu de jour was 300+ dirhams for basically nicely done tajine and meat. I wouldn't bother...More

We arrived at this restaurant with high hopes after reading positive reviews, but we left very disappointed. At first, we were given an English menu which said that we could only take full menus for 250-350 Dh, which are fairly high prices for Morrocan standards,...More

In a town not renowned for its dining scene, this French-run restaurant is a glorious exception. Owner Brahim Amdiaz is also an active subscriber to the slow food quality ethic. Checkered floor tiles and red tablecloths give it the air of a French bistro, but the cuisine is high Moroccan, with French panache. House specialties include pastilla (salty-sweet pigeon in puff pastry) and camel meat with pureed potato, served in a gingery Mali sauce. There are several four-course set menus available.
