A nice place for family outing activities. There is playground for the kids and the beaches.. There is a few food stall besides KFC, Pizza Hunt and some restaurant. During the weekend the playground consider over crowded due to the limited spaces. Anyway it one to the interesting places to visit when you are in Miri.

They have completed the move to the concrete "bunker" from the beach side. It is ugly and obtrusive. Food was overpriced. Upon speaking to the stall holders they defended the high prices by explaining their rents were very high, as they now pay the private owners of the "bunker", not the local council for a stall next to the beach.... I would like to update the location of this hawker centre. It is no longer at the beach front. Instead, it has moved to a 2-storey building (next to KFC), which is very near the old location. From the roadside, you will easily spot the red signboard "Food Bazaar". There are ample parking space. This place is patronized mostly by... More

The Satay is very good from the ladies. Fish like sting ray is prepared bbq Malay style with lots of sambal. Drinks like coconut water and local sweet drinks are recommended.

If you happen to be in Miri, you may want to try chilling out here during sunset. While the the beach in front of this taman selera is not a world-class, it still offers you a beautiful sunset and peace. The foods are ok, and the prices are reasonable. Some people may say it is expensive, but its ok la.... More

it is a local place for seafood especially BBQ style. It is not that cheap as you think but worth to eat there. And the stall that i tried is the first one counting from the KFC building. I like the food especially the BBQ fish.

This eating place of hawker stalls used to be a bustling place and you could visit several times a month and eat cheaply and well without going to the same area. Now it has been shoved into a much smaller area while a concrete monstrosity is built. There are fewer stalls and the food is only "OK". The place is... More

Walking in and around this outdoor food area appears monotonous.... every stall sells seafood and cooking styles are more or less the same except for a smart Chinese youth who choose to sell chicken satay at one corner. He breaks the monotony and his stall sells itself and we are very certain of that cos we have to wait about... More

What more can you all for? There are many stalls there selling local fares and seafood. It is not a touristy place. Loads of locals there, jogging, walling their dogs, children cycling etc. The food is really good. We went there twice, first time during dinner (about 5.30pm) & people were streaming in. Of you are lucky, you will probably... More
