We came here several times duri g our stay at Koh Lanta, both for sunset coctails and dinnes. Better than average Thai kitchen, surprisingly tasty Mexican, good drinks and service - right next to the beach.

This place is by far one of the better restaurants we've been too so far .... the service staff are very attentive and the location and decor are very well suited for families and couples with beach side dining. Great selection of fresh sea food and a variety of Mexican dishes to tempt your taste buds .... food was served... More

We ate dinner at the Castaway and were happy to get a nice, spicy curry. So many places shy away from giving spicy dishes to tourists (they think we can't handle it), but my red curry had plenty of heat. It also has a nice atmosphere and good staff. Worth a visit!

Mr Magnus, I am the lady you refer to in your damning review of this restaurant. Your review is unjust and unfair to the manager and staff of this restaurant and resort, and you have incensed me to respond to you. Firstly I am a two week guest at this resort. I have a rare disease called Sclerosing Mesenteritis. I... More

The food here was excellent. The fish tacos are a MUST if you are a fan of fish tacos. The tex mex was great, as well as the thai food. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. They have a great cocktail selection as well! Mong is a wonderful bartender.

Have been one of my favorites on the island but I will never go here again! It started when we arrived, we had reservation and it was raining, the Manager didn't bother to say hello or welcome us ... just looked tired on us and continued talking with the guest at the bar. Later when we just received our food... More

Thankfully TripAdvisor allows for management responses so people can hear the other side of the story. As the Manager I am 100 % dedicated to ALL our customers, guests, and employees. I love what I do.... More

While we stayed at the hotel, we ate at this restaurant frequently. The service was great, the food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner and the bar staff (especially Nong) was awesome. The local fresh fish they serve for dinner was delicious, you could not go wrong with what fish you chose. Being a westerner, the Tex-Mex... More

Thank you for sharing your dining experience that you had here at the Beachcomber Restaurant. The fact that you mentioned our kitchen, staff, seafood, Thai and Tex-Mex dishes, tells me that you tried the full menu. That means a lot to us and will pass this on to our staff. We give our best effort daily to make sure everyone... More

We only ate here, we didn't stay . I try to be as positive as possible as there are a lot of "Nay Sayers" on trip advisor Positive; the chicken quesadillas were nice (quote from my 11 year old) We were a family of 6, 4 x children and 2 x adults. I'm a vegetarian, I ordered the vegetarian fajitas... More

Hello kylieww, Thank you for giving us a try for dinner. This was one of the most descriptive reviews that I have ever read. I have also read your other reviews and looked at your Trip Advisor ‘Passport’. It appears that you have not traveled to America. Thus, I am wondering how you know what genuine Tex-Mex tastes like, or... More
