This small cafe is up the stairs on Poet Tyagaraja Road next to a Tibetan Restaurant. It’s cosy but clean, with some tables inside and outside, and serves the best coffee I have managed to find in Southern India. The coffee is locally sourced, and...the cafe is nicely decorated and the service friendly. Also some good home-made cake available - and you can buy some coffee or coffee beans to take home. Highly recommended for a coffee break in KodaikanalMore

Coffee is undoubtedly the best blend, they supply beans to most cafes in Kodaikanal. The lady who runs the cafe is also a delight to speak with and very well informed. Cheesecake was not the best, however the carrot cake must not be missed! They...are very particular about their timings and have an extremely limited menu, most items also get over real quick. Be there nice and early!More

We had a great visit. We were met with kindness at the door. The lovely lady who took care of us answered all of our questions and was super friendly. It was so cute and cozy in there. A must when visiting Kodai. They sell...great coffee, hot chocolate cake and much more! Even coffee beans check it out.More

Cute little friendly place, kind staff, authentic coffee and tasty cakes. We as a family with kids and older ones found this to be a place we must visit again. To sit in the corridor with a sip of coffee, watching the hustle and bustle...of the Sunday market was especially satisfying to my mum who used to live in Kodai 30 years back. And we all had a treat of the Tosca cake. We couldn't resist the urge to have more helpings of the Tosca cake. We carried a pack of coffee powder back home so that fragrance lingers on before we make another trip.More

watch the time go by... the coffee from from the slopes on the palani hills is full and nicely balanced, kokila's freshly baked tosca and carrot cakes are delicious. there are homemade pickles, spreads and the 'ceaser's' chocolates (amongst the better ones in kodai) are...worth a try. closed on monday.More

Hot chocolate, carrot cake, toska cake to name a few. Besides these they have organic honey, their own brand of coffee powder. A place one shouldn't miss on a trip to Kodaikanal.

Had a great time. Fantastic coffee and good company. Kids loved the Hot Chocolate, Toscana & Carrot cakes. You must be lucky to have perfect weather to make your visit to this place even memorable. Not much space.... which makes the place cozy in a...way. Thanks Mr.Kishore for keeping us enthralled & all the very best.More

Visited Cafe Cariappa. The coffee was good and Tosca cake was delicious. It was good and cozy. But I personally think they should include something more in the menu.

Had a pomegranate juice and hot chocolate. Juice was nice while hot chocolate was average. What was amazing was the lady in charge of the cafe. She was very friendly and gave a lot of information. Unfortunately could not try their coffee.
