A very nice meal cooked freshly infront of our eyes. Very friendly and cheerful family who run the place. Good sized portions and a very reasonable price. Nice homely balcony where you can eat and watch the world pass by below. A good experience!

Had a good time with friends ! The coffee was amazing and our favourite was the vegetarian fried rice . The price was very reasonable as well. One must definitely visit while In bundi.
Good location near the palace with verandah. Food tasty and nice cold beer served too. Staff friendly.
The breakfast I had was very nice. The service was also exellent. Helped me when I needed it. Wifi also works.
Nice view palace.. there is stop Restaurant fast drink cold water.... Very nice family.. home made make food... Bundi 2 days stay.. Eating food... Breakfast lunch dinner....😊😊😊
Nice family owned and operated restaurant. Decent prices, fresh cooking and very tasty food! Ambiance and spot close but outside the crowd. Come it is worth the stop. We went many times during our 6 days journey to Bundi. Thank you Sawan, mom and sister....They even help us to find a rickshaw wallah to visit area and with confirming buses for the next stop after Bundi.More
First time I tried this dish and I am glad it was at Sawan Cafe. Also the owners are very nice and happy to share a conversation while waiting for the food.
Superb location, but incredibly let down by the food quality. We ordered 2 very different Indian curry’s and they both were covered by the same curry sauce, however, this wasn’t curry sauce this was watered down tomato pasta sauce as if being back at primary...school 10 years ago. There were no spices or any flavour, except for the watery tomato soup that was meant to be curry, we forced ourselves to eat it because we had to pay. It was a shame that even the people who live here don’t even quite know how to cook there own cuisine that usually would taste far from this.More
We really liked the look and it drew us in... but after realising we’d playing cards for an hour and a half we started to worry. I noticed the boy cooking was around 15/16. I could see into the kitchen and my Israeli salad had...been on the floor of the kitchen the entire hour and a half we waited. We ordered a malai kofta and a butter panneer. My mate and I are foodies and love to explore restaurants and see how each region or town cooks the dish differently. ***Sadly, this was the worst Indian meal we’ve had in India!*** This may have been because of the young chef , but our whole meal cost 650 rupees which is a lot for us in India, making us feel more upset. The sauce seemed to remind me a lot of a sought of ‘cuppa soup’ AKA tomato flavoured water. Anyway we love leaving reviews to tell people to go to places we love and we don’t write bad ones very often.More
We had a delicious breakfast at Sawan cafe. Especially the Indian Breakfast is something I highly recommend, with amazing potato parantha and curd on the side mmmm...
