Just had the most wonderful lunch at this rooftop restaurant. We had okra curry, aubergine curry and chappartis + a bottle of water. There is no menu the owner discusses what you would like dependant on vegetable availability. It would be difficult to beat the...price. Please go and try you will not be disappointed.More

So tasty!! There is no menu, but he gives you a few options all of which he cooks from fresh. I had the aubergine curry and dahl, both were delicious. The portions are huge! My favourite meal in 2 months of travelling.

We stumbled across this place for lunch after reading the reviews on Trip advisor and were actually unsure we’d arrived at the right place as it looked like someone’s house! Wow were we pleased we went inside. There is no menu but don’t be alarmed,...the host comes and sits with you and talks through what dishes he can make with the fresh ingredients he has in the cupboard. The food was exceptional, truly one of the best meals we had during the whole two months we travelled around India. Go here for true Indian home cooked food, you will not leave hungry!More

Delightful home cooking. Be prepared for a tasty vegetarian meal prepared by a lovely couple. The food options are based on seasonal availability but I assure you you won’t be disappointed. The serving sizes were generous. It is a bit more expensive than some other...places but the quality of food is worth it.More

A great place for trying the local foods and seeing how the locals really make it. There is no menu, but many locally sourced delicious options to choose from. It’s really good quality and price for what you get. The curries are a huge size...and roughly around 200 each - perfect for sharing. Really sweet and welcoming family. Thank you for having us and showing us traditional Indian food!!!!!More

Had a fantastic experience eating at A&R cafe. The whole family were so kind and friendly, and welcomed us into their home for some amazing home cooked Indian food. They ask you what you like and cook accordingly, so you get personalised, fresh and authentic...Indian food. We had eggplant curry and it was so different to anything I have eaten in India so far, and was Absolutely delicious. Definitely go and see for yourself how amazing this place is.More

This place is brilliant. The couple who run the place simply ask you what you do and don’t like and then serve you something delicious that meets your tastes. We visited twice and enjoyed everything. Our favourite dish was the brinjal (aubergine) with peanut and...pickle curry. The couple are upfront about costs (200rs each — at the time of writing) and waiting time (40mins). The food is absolutely delicious and huge portions! If you visit for a late lunch, you will not be remotely hungry again at dinner time! Visit!! It will be one of the highlights of your trip to Bundi.More

What a cute place! Rocked up and the owner spoke through the 5 options they had that day (cooking based on local seasonal ingredients). We tried the aubergine curry and channa masala and both were absolutely excellent! Massive portions of 5star Indian home cooking. What...a delight!More

I came to this restaurant by myself and was very happy to hear there was no menu. After a chat about what I liked to eat, the owners offered me a thali of 2 curries, rice and chapatis. As it was quiet, I asked if...I could join them in the kitchen to watch them prepare the food. They are wonderful hosts who explained all the ingredients and processes to me so carefully. They were so lovely that I came back the next day with two friends who adored the food as well. The curry was some of the tastiest I’ve eaten in a whole month of India - homemade taste with fresh ingredients. The true star of the show was the homemade pickle - we agreed it was the best we’d eaten ever! Go for the food, make sure you get to know the people, take a cooking class if you want to learn some tips and tricks. Thank you!More

It's in Bundis old town main road where the market is. Call them or ask people in the shops. It's easy to find. Good luck! Phone: +91 98298 67432
