This shop needs no introduction. They offer three things ( milk cake [indian style], peddas, and lassi). We tried all. Lassi with malai ( butter) is the best, followed by milk cake and then peddas. We took this lassi and quickly went over to the...jalebi walla ( gurdasram jalebiwalla) to have hot jalebi's with cold lassi. The calorie intake is like a full breakfast so i recommend skipping the morning meal to enjoy this stuff.More
Most famous and one of the oldest shops in Amritsar is Giann Chand Di Lassi where you will get to taste heavy yet sumptuous Lassi which will make your day. Butter and cream are used as topping over the main Lassi which makes it heavy...food item thus making you full for quite a long time.More
I came here last month with one of my friend as it was his first time in Amritsar & he was so excited to have Lassi for the first time here in Amritsar. It was so good like you can feel it in your mouth...& it was so yummy... Highly RecommendedMore
This is another famous joint mentioned in lot of food blogs for Amritsar. Located in the busy narrow lanes of the city. Best way to reach this place is to get a rickshaw or Auto. Google Maps will get you to the right location. Only...thing to watch out for is that there are two shops with exactly same name and selling lassi only. The one on the corner of the street is not the original one.
The lassi is brewed fresh. They have this unique style of making lassi using Pedas and that provides a different taste to the lassi. One full glass can be shared between two if you are planning to visit other food joints as well as they add lot of butter and cream on top of lassi.
Overall a must visit place for lassi lovers.More
This is probably the best lassi in the world. simply amazing. it is not too thick but it is loaded with malai. you can ask them to reduce or remove the malai altogether. the sweetness is not too much. i believe there is even a...salt version but we never tried it. there is a special with peda also. this should not be missed. in addition to ahuja this is one of the must do food stops in Amritsar.More
