Simply wow!! The fish and the chicken are truly exceptional!! Having eaten both dishes enough, we were unsure of why the hype around the place and it was clarified on eating here! Surely inmissable in Amritsar if one eats meat

We ate dry fish platter & butter chicken on our visit in dec.21. The dry fish plate cost us 850 bucks + taxes & was okayish & the butter chicken was nothing to brag about. All said, it was a disappointment.

Again the same story as of Kesar da dhaba. We went there after hearing a lot about it. But it was again a waste of time, energy and money. Worst food, delayed service, arrogant staff, food quality is pathetic. Fish for which it is famous...is very average preparation and very costly too. 1 kg of fried singara is almost 1200 per kg. WASTE AND TOTAL WASTE. DONT EVET GO THERE. EAT AT ANY OTHER DHABA BUT DONT GO TO THESE 2 PLACES.More

The best fish that i have eaten in my life so far. At first me and my husband thought it must be one of those places that are over hyped, but to our surprise the fish was actually too good. Even the keema naan with...mutton gravy was extremely delicious.More

Had visited there with my family. Heard a lot abt this place and we all were very excited abt the food. But all the excitement fizzled out soon. The person taking the order was either very tired or not in his senses. Whatever we order...he brings something else and blame us for not ordering other things. And it happens not once but three times. Then after much arguing he agreed to give us fish tikka but it was the worst tikka i had eaten in my life. Half roasted and that also after waiting for one hour . Chicken was also not properly roasted. The service was so poor which cant b explained. I will never ever go there againMore

The place is too popular so they don't care much I think. I asked the server twice about authentic Amritsari fish tikka and he kept saying order fish fry...I asked him again, is that their version of Amritsari fish tikka and he had no clue...what I was asking. Anyhow, we ordered fish fry because of this conversation and also chicken tandoori. Tandoori was good, no food coloring, pure tandoori. Fish fry was simply bad. Fish smelled like fish which is no no. They also have their name only has Makhan Fish and not Makhan Fish and Chicken Cornder. That itself got me confused big time.More

The Fried Sangara fish had no taste at all. Disappointed with the hype that has been created around it. Overpriced stuff. Seems like all th dishes of chicken have the same taste. They add extra spices in the leftover curries (mostly butter chicken curry) and...serve it as kali mirch, etc chicken. The only thing edible from what I ordered was rice, onions and free green chutney. I wonder who gave good ratings to this place. If craving for non-veg food, I'd prefer good street food anyday, over this restaurant.More
