I have always had the view that the food or prasad as v call it always has an enhanced taste when it is made in holy place.same goes here. Food is simple cooked by hundreds of believers on a daily basis not because they have to.but because they are offering services to God..definitely worth a try just for the feel... More

This is my fourth time at Amritsar and of course the Golden Temple too! The main reason for me to visit Amritsar has always been the temple and also the Langar. Selfless, disciplined service and simple tasty food that is blessed by God!! At least one ,meal at the Guru ka Langar is a must for anyone visiting the Harmandir Sahib!!

Every devotee who visit Golden Temple for the blessings will take this langar. Everything is very well organised and maintained here. The management is very effective. It doesnt matter how crowdy this place everyone will get his meal in 30 mins.Sevadars are very effective in cleaning the place after every langar. Every devotee use to visit Golden Temple wish to have langer which is treated as blessings of God. Langer is offered n distributed free of cost n without any partially. This system was started by Guru ji in order create equality in society n till date it applicable.

the most satisfying and divine prasad is served from a community kitchen of course its free for all. every body eats together sitting on the floor and is being served by the volunteers. Amazing experience, A must do
