MAYABAZAR, Munnar

We had lunch at Maya bazar restaurant, the menu is Indian, Arabic and continental cuisine. I had vegetarian biryani. Maya bazar is located in the Silver Tips movie themed hotel. The biryani was nicely presented and tasty. SEE photos.

A great lunch

We did not stay at the hotel but after a recommendation called in for a buffet lunch. This was truly Keralan with a terrific selection of hot food both vegetarian and meat. There were two tasty soups and a salad section. We received a warm...welcome and the food was so good we ate too much and could not manage an evening meal where we were stayingMore

Very Clean Restaurant with Great Foods.i cant belive how the spread of the Buffet.and mouthwatering too...also attentive,friendly staffs make you are at Home.you should try silvertips special platter.thank you so much team mayabazar. will recommended to everyone...

The buffet is extensive, they keep things fresh and clean - and I recommend especially the vegetarian options. No alcohol.

Movie theme restaurant with courteous staff and good service.

We did not stay in the hotel but just the restaurant. Overall experience was very good with good food, reasonably priced, quick service and courteous staff. The theme is Indian movies and the rare photos of movies giving you company.

"food, ambiance and service - great"

Mayabazar is a really good restaurant in Silver Tips Resort in the heart of Munnar town. The interior of the hotel gives the feel of movie theme and the of the restaurant is arranged like a palace in a 1957 Telungu move "Mayabazar". The restaurant...has good seating and the staff are very attentive and cordial. The cuisines, both Veg and non veg are well prepared and they serve Indian, Chinese and Arabic dishes here. Buffet and al- a-carte options are also there. I have been to the restaurant on several occasions and I think they are very keen in serving the guests with the best cuisines.More

Not bad food in a so called theme restuarant

Apart from the framed photos from movies, this dining hall failed to give guests the feel of a movie theme. The rooms were good enough to get a feel of the movie theme with the arrangement of bed, camera bedlamp and so on. Food tastes...average, cut fruits were not at all fresh.More

regular restaurant....

this is my favourite restaurant in munnar.....during my munnar visit we visit here regular for dinner.....buffet is very best option ....different variety of dishes like fried items(veg and non veg),salads etc.....
