Lovely atmosphere and cute decor. The food was really amazing and the portion size is just perfect. The server was all smiles and helped us order the best coffee. Although, famous for coffee but their overall food is simply delicious and the place has a...happy tranquil vibe to it. It is right in the lane behind the petrol pump, incase you find it hard-to-spot.More

Once you enter the place you will be greeted with aroma of coffee inside the cafe. That shows that they use coffee beans freshly ground . Must try is the Americano and espresso

Caravela cafe might be considered by many as 'charming' and all that, and while I was impressed with the looks of this place, the vibes and attitude of the managing staff was hardly welcoming. As a solo traveller looking forward to a special brunch at...Caravela on the last day of my Goa trip, I was met with quite a cold reception. I've spoken with Mr Carlos in the past and he comes across as a genial and helpful gentleman. But the lady in charge was nearly rude when I mentioned his name, saying "We are managers here; is that a problem?"  Well, it was now. This was decidedly a sour note at the close of my otherwise nice vacation. Then I thought that just maybe, they hadn't realised how bad an impression they were making. In any case, I had sat down for a minute when I figured I was quite put off to even try anything. Walked out, with no intent of coming back again.      More

Caravela Cafe is a real gem nestled in the bylanes of Panjim. The cafe atmosphere is welcoming and warm and the food is delicious. We tried breakfast and a few snacks and all were uniformly tasty and fresh. The coffee - their in-house roast blend...is superb. Would highly recommend this cafe for brekkie, lunch or an early dinner. Thank you Team caravelaMore

I ordered a chicken club sandwich and was shocked to find out when I took my first bite that there was no chicken or bacon but instead a slice of packet processed meat I immediately sent it back as I cannot eat processed food I...told the woman working there that a club sandwich is made with real chicken and as in the menu there was written a chicken club sandwich I wanted what was written She replied saying that they make it with processed meat and that nobody ever complains I told her that you have to inform people if you are using processed meat as some people like me are intolerant to it and it is incorrect to sell something supposedly fresh and exchange for unhealthy processed meat Instead of apologizing for her mistake she turned around arrogantly and said that she can do what she wanted and walked off When my friend asked for the bill the woman had included the uneaten club sandwich saying that she didn’t care if I couldn’t eat it and that as far as she was concerned I could take it home with me It was packed and my friend gave it to a dog on the street I could have had an allergic reaction caused by this woman’s fake club sandwich She should be ashamed of herself for demanding money for a fake chicken club sandwichMore

Breakfast and charm is served at its best here and whenever we are in Goa and in the vicinity of Panjim, this will be our daily breakfast stop for sure.

Lovely, sweet lady who owned the place was very warm and welcoming. I have eaten at Caravela since 2001 at Candolim, used to love their Bibinca! But since I'm vegan now, I can't have it anymore. However I was most excited to see they had...vegetarian vindaloo - it made my heart happy. Since it is a generally spicy dish, I ordered a lemon ice tea to go with it. It was excellent!!!! Not as crazy spicy as I imagined it would be, but spicy enough to get my sinuses flowing and the ice tea helped. I really do recommend it, I couldn't stop eating it, even though I was stuffed. Looking forward to going back and having another meal there soon! 😍 On a different note, you won't get any network there so you can focus on food and conversation. A definite must visit when in Goa.More

Good food, ambience and conversation. Best is the no-laptop policy which keeps a cafe as a cafe and not a borderless office! Fluffy omelette and fresh juice without any additives. Reasonably priced. Would be my regular adda if I lived in Goa!

The owner is very courteous . We visited the branch at candolim. The cold coffee is to die for, so are the chicken sandwiches. Must try for amazing breakfast options (Ross eggs) Also, the pain de croissant is the best croissant I had in goa
