Because Caravela sources and roasts its own beans, the coffee they serve is fresh. Try their cappuccino some morning: just the right amount of bitterness and foam. Such a treat! This is a small family-run establishment where the service is polite and the food homemade....They carry lots of local delicacies and it's nice to see that the place is frequented by local Goans. If you have a sweet tooth, then there's such things as pastéis de nata and even bebinca to take care of that. I understand that apart from making things on location, the owners also work with local Goans to stock the delicacies they sell. Really endearing!More

We decided to have breakfast here after someone recommended it to us and we were not at all disappointed. 5 of us ordered different items and we all enjoyed them immensely. Combined with that is the at home feel with Fabiola hovering around to take...care of your orders. We will definitely go back there.More

Goa is popular for many reasons, cafes are one of them. This one is from a cute cafe in @panjim.goa @caravelacafegoa . . Peperoni and Cheese pizza Cost Rs 300/- It was without any extra topping, just the perfectly balanced pizza. Crispy and soft and cheesy....Olives giving it a nice tinge. Filling. Goan Sausage- Soft, juicy, spicy and typical scent and flavour which lingers. pocket pinch Rs 650/- for two. The cafe was cute and quick to serve, the staffs were very goid and polite specially the lady was so helpful, friendly and warm hearted person. Loved her and the way she interacts with everyone.More

Caravela cafe and bistro is one of those cafes you walk in to… And immediately know that you’ll return to very soon! With a large selection of cakes and coffees, you could easily spend an afternoon in here, catching up with friends or replying to...all those emails you’ve been letting build up. . . @caravelacafegoa is located in the very middle of panjim city , not far from the casinos and hard to miss. The city of Panjim itself is a quirky mix of ancient meets modern, old meets new. This relaxed corner café is quintessentially Goan - the streets, vibe and specially the food. I went there recently for lunch and tried few of their delicacies, though I went there for lunch i feel it's a perfect place for breakfasts, late lunch or evening coffee and if you happen to visit this place for coffee, don't forget to try out their in-house coffee brew. They roast their own coffee beans and source green coffee beans specially from coorg. . . . #Goa #goan_ranchikudMore

They are known for their all-day breakfast, pizzas, pasta, coffee & delicious Goan food. For all those coffee lovers Caravela is something that should surely visit. As they roast their own coffee & also have some really good coffee collection. Like I mentioned above this place is well known for their coffee & we must say all the 3 coffees we tried had a unique blend & taste, we loved it. In Goan food, we tried Pulau & Khatkhate, full marks to the peas pulau but we feel the Khatkhate could have been better. (Please note this wasn’t the same Khatkhate we make at home). Last we had the chocolate brownie and we could not ask for more as it was fudgy & served with hot chocolate sauce. So yes, if you are looking for a refreshing morning with some delicious servings and a cup of fresh coffee then this place is a must. Simple advice enjoy your walk around the fontainhas lanes & drop by Caravela for coffee & delicious breakfast. Nestled in the picturesque lanes of Latin Quarter of Panjim, known as Fontainhas, this cosy Caravela Cafe & Bistro, should be on your list of must-visit places in Goa. It is known to serve the best coffee in Goa and also offers some delicious savouries...and desserts to give a great company to your coffees. The Ambience The moment you step into the cafe, you feel a positive vibe inning throughout., to me it gives a very homely feeling. The decor is simple, nothing loud and yet you cannot afford to miss some eye catching posters on the walls and some very typical art pieces that reflect the true essence of Goa. Also the owners of the place Mr. Carlos and his sons presence and interaction gives a very personalised feel to the overall hospitality. I have been visiting this place since a long time and even ordered home delivery during the lockdown days, but was desperately waiting for it to open its doors again so that I can personally visit the cafe and enjoy some great coffee, conversations and of course some delicious food. The Food Their all-day breakfast is extremely popular and you should not miss it. The rissois at Caravela is something they are known for. Although the prawn ones have no competition, trust me the veg version with cheese is equally delightful., it simply melts in the mouth. And for a reasonable price of just Rs 100 for 5 pieces, its a steal worthy deal.. Caravela Cafe & Bistro Beef Samosas or Beef Potato Chops and Croquettes (Beef & Chicken) are another items on the menu that are worth trying, especially if you are looking at something to munch along your cup of coffee. For more filling items, their burgers and sandwiches are totally worth digging. My personal recommendations would include the Ham & Cheese Sandwich, The Chicken Club Sandwich and Tomato Cucumber Cheese Sandwich. and the very delicious and juicy Beef Burger. They have recently added some pizzas and pasta and salads as well in the menu and the sea-food pasta that I tried was something that I would love going back for. They also have a selection of Goan food items on the menu that includes Xacuti, Caldeen, Vindalho, Roulade and other dishes. The dessert section is highly tempting and inviting. With decadent cake slices to apple pies and tarts, pancakes and seradura, it can simply leave you asking for more. I loved the warm apple pie and a lovely croissant with my coffee.. The Coffee Whether you like it hot or cold, this place is meant to satiate any kind of coffee cravings that you can ever have. Their classic cold coffee is one of my favourites and the cappuccino or latte is unmatched. There are some shakes also available on the menu, but a true coffee lover can never walk away from the cafe without indulging in their signature coffees. Coffee Caravela Cafe And well they are not just great are serving coffees, but roasting their own coffee beans, under their brand called The Latin Quarter Coffee, they also sell coffee beans and powder. With some 5 different types of roasts and blends, their coffee finds customers all across the country. The AAA Arabica Premium and the newly launched Arabica and Robusta blended coffee called Mestizo are my personal favourites and give me a perfect cup of coffee every single time, from the comfort of my home. Latin Quarter Coffee Final Word For me this place defines the true meaning of a cafe and bistro in Goa and I highly recommend visiting the place if you haven’t done that yet. As of now, they are open with limited seating, following all safety precautions and guidelines, ensuring your safety every bit. You can also take away from the cafe or order home delivery at your doorstep. And don’t forget giving their coffee beans and powder a try, its really going to be worth your while.More

A fun loving, informative and friendly host always indicates a good time. Our afternoon at Caravela Cafe was all about great food, homely vibes, enthusiastic owner Mr. Carlos Noronha and the most delicious range of hot and cold coffee under their brand name 'Latin Quarters'....Let's talk about the Coffee first. A full fledged Coffe roasting and grinding machine worked continuously churning out various types of coffee according to ones taste. The entire top floor had the robust aroma of roasted coffee beans. Carlos Jr., the one behind the amazing coffee patiently explained and took us through the entire process and made sure he packed some fresh ground coffee for us to take home too. This coffee tour made us try and enjoy 3 coffees in a span on 2hrs. Mental note - Go back soon for more! Moving on to the food, we tried one of the - All day breakfast. Soft scrambled eggs with frankfurters, baked beans, hash brown, braised tomato, sauteed mushroom toast, preservatives and Coffee. A one plate meal, have this and trust us you wouldn't want anything more. Perfectly filling and an amazing suggestion by Cyrus the one behind the delicious food at The Caravela. Next up were these Spinach and Cheese Rissois. Make sure to have this hot, cos when it's hot it not something you can stop with just 1 serving. Spaghetti Aglio e olii drizzled with generous amounts of garlic, chili flakes and olive oil was one bowl of comfort. We ate some and packed the rest to enjoy later. The pasta's are on the blander side as informed by Mr. Carlos, the owner. Kept this way on purpose so people can customize as required. In the current situation everyone has become an expert in cooking at home with pizza being a popular choice. But what if we said that the Roasted Veg pizza was one of the best we've had. Nothing fancy, this thin crust perfect pizza was amazing. Not overloaded with cheese and maintaining the right crunch of the veggies. Truly delicious. What's a meal that dosent end with some great desserts. Our search for the best 'Serradura' came to an end here. Perfectly sized and priced the serradura was light airy but luscious and creamy . Not too sweet but definitely the best. Must try. The carrot cake was no less in competition. The spiced cake with the walnut crusted creme cheese was a dream combination. Our meal came to an end but the conversation with the owners - the Noronha family seemed endless. We promised to visit again and continue where we left, of course over some more amazing food and coffee talks.More
