Loved the food and the coffee. We were only here for three days and went here twice - really lovely staff and food. Recommend the coffee (of course) and the iced tea, we had the Goan breakfast and chicken pesto sandwich today - delicious and very filling. Highly recommended.

We were hungry for breakfast, having left the hotel early to take photographs of the lovely 'heritage' Fontainhas district of Panjim, but the various cafes we spotted were set to open later. To our great good luck we wandered down a street on which 'Caravela' sent out delicious aromas of coffee and fresh bread. We knew THIS was meant to be when Fabiola Fernandes, the Manager and co-owner, and I recognized the 'great cat' in each other...we were wearing similar leopard printed tops...and laughed and hugged like old friends! The decor is charming with customized 'caravelas' featured across the lampshades, the service is quick and friendly... Fabiola and her husband personally overseeing the comfort of every guest, the menu is extensive, the food is delicious with generous portions, the fresh-brewed coffee is heavenly (my daughter and I chose different blends), and the price is worth every penny. What more could one ask for? Our only regret was that we had not discovered it earlier and will have to wait until our next trip to Goa to visit there again.

A fun loving, informative and friendly host always indicates a good time. Our afternoon at Caravela Cafe was all about great food, homely vibes, enthusiastic owner Mr. Carlos Noronha and the most delicious range of hot and cold coffee under their brand name 'Latin Quarters'. Let's talk about the Coffee first. A full fledged Coffe roasting and grinding machine worked continuously churning out various types of coffee according to ones taste. The entire top floor had the robust aroma of roasted coffee beans. Carlos Jr., the one behind the amazing coffee patiently explained and took us through the entire process and made sure he packed some fresh ground coffee for us to take home too. This coffee tour made us try and enjoy 3 coffees in a span on 2hrs. Mental note - Go back soon for more! Moving on to the food, we tried one of the - All day breakfast. Soft scrambled eggs with frankfurters, baked beans, hash brown, braised tomato, sauteed mushroom toast, preservatives and Coffee. A one plate meal, have this and trust us you wouldn't want anything more. Perfectly filling and an amazing suggestion by Cyrus the one behind the delicious food at The Caravela. Next up were these Spinach and Cheese Rissois. Make sure to have this hot, cos when it's hot it not something you can stop with just 1 serving. Spaghetti Aglio e olii drizzled with generous amounts of garlic, chili flakes and olive oil was one bowl of comfort. We ate some and packed the rest to enjoy later. The pasta's are on the blander side as informed by Mr. Carlos, the owner. Kept this way on purpose so people can customize as required. In the current situation everyone has become an expert in cooking at home with pizza being a popular choice. But what if we said that the Roasted Veg pizza was one of the best we've had. Nothing fancy, this thin crust perfect pizza was amazing. Not overloaded with cheese and maintaining the right crunch of the veggies. Truly delicious. What's a meal that dosent end with some great desserts. Our search for the best 'Serradura' came to an end here. Perfectly sized and priced the serradura was light airy but luscious and creamy . Not too sweet but definitely the best. Must try. The carrot cake was no less in competition. The spiced cake with the walnut crusted creme cheese was a dream combination. Our meal came to an end but the conversation with the owners - the Noronha family seemed endless. We promised to visit again and continue where we left, of course over some more amazing food and coffee talks.

This is my favourite cafe in Goa and maybe even India. Excellent and I mean excellent coffee. My favourite is the Latin Quarter Premium but the Robusta and Mestizo are great too. They have several interesting set breakfast menus from English breakfasts to more local Goan inspired ones. But my new favourite is the eggs Benedict. Probably a better option really as it leaves you room to squeeze in a croissant and a plate of pancake if desired. Regular food is five-star too, special mention for the pepperoni pizza and carbonara pasta though their local cuisine of xacuti and roulade is spot on too. Can get a bit busy but a good indicator of how well the food is appreciated. Always warm and friendly hospitality. Looking forward to returning though just returned from the place myself.

Goa is popular for many reasons, cafes are one of them. This one is from a cute cafe in @panjim.goa @caravelacafegoa . . Peperoni and Cheese pizza Cost Rs 300/- It was without any extra topping, just the perfectly balanced pizza. Crispy and soft and cheesy. Olives giving it a nice tinge. Filling. Goan Sausage- Soft, juicy, spicy and typical scent and flavour which lingers. pocket pinch Rs 650/- for two. The cafe was cute and quick to serve, the staffs were very goid and polite specially the lady was so helpful, friendly and warm hearted person. Loved her and the way she interacts with everyone.

Because Caravela sources and roasts its own beans, the coffee they serve is fresh. Try their cappuccino some morning: just the right amount of bitterness and foam. Such a treat! This is a small family-run establishment where the service is polite and the food homemade. They carry lots of local delicacies and it's nice to see that the place is frequented by local Goans. If you have a sweet tooth, then there's such things as pastéis de nata and even bebinca to take care of that. I understand that apart from making things on location, the owners also work with local Goans to stock the delicacies they sell. Really endearing!

My fiancé took me to this cute cafe in Panjim, and upon entering we already felt a beautiful energy in that place and we were also warmly welcomed by the staff. The English breakfast was amazing!! Coffee taste so smooth! And the finale was the Apple Tart, oh my GOSHELICIOUS ! Best Apple Tart I ever had, you can taste it’s home-handmade. But the best was, while eating there with my fiancé, they we’re playing Christmas song, that brought tears of joy in my heart, as a child my parents use to play this music, it brought so much joyful memories of these years. they will forever be in my heart. Thank you Caravela Cafe for making that day so special!!

Caravela cafe might be considered by many as 'charming' and all that, and while I was impressed with the looks of this place, the vibes and attitude of the managing staff was hardly welcoming. As a solo traveller looking forward to a special brunch at Caravela on the last day of my Goa trip, I was met with quite a cold reception. I've spoken with Mr Carlos in the past and he comes across as a genial and helpful gentleman. But the lady in charge was nearly rude when I mentioned his name, saying "We are managers here; is that a problem?"  Well, it was now. This was decidedly a sour note at the close of my otherwise nice vacation. Then I thought that just maybe, they hadn't realised how bad an impression they were making. In any case, I had sat down for a minute when I figured I was quite put off to even try anything. Walked out, with no intent of coming back again.

Caravela cafe and bistro is one of those cafes you walk in to… And immediately know that you’ll return to very soon! With a large selection of cakes and coffees, you could easily spend an afternoon in here, catching up with friends or replying to all those emails you’ve been letting build up. . . @caravelacafegoa is located in the very middle of panjim city , not far from the casinos and hard to miss. The city of Panjim itself is a quirky mix of ancient meets modern, old meets new. This relaxed corner café is quintessentially Goan - the streets, vibe and specially the food. I went there recently for lunch and tried few of their delicacies, though I went there for lunch i feel it's a perfect place for breakfasts, late lunch or evening coffee and if you happen to visit this place for coffee, don't forget to try out their in-house coffee brew. They roast their own coffee beans and source green coffee beans specially from coorg. . . . #Goa #goan_ranchikud

Located in Fontain Has, this cafe serves one of the most perfect coffee in the city. If you are a coffee lover, then make sure that you stop here. Also, don't forget to try their desserts (cheesecake, brownies) which were simply delicious. Glad we visited this place and hope to be there soon.

Small but very impressive cafe serving authentic coffee and all day breakfast. It’s tucked in a tiny street off the MG Road in Panjim and boasts of a old warm charm. Cafe is very aesthetically designed but a bit cramped. If you like the real coffee - this is the place. Aditya Tiwari was a great host guiding various offerings. Very pleasant and eager to help. Go for it

The Caravela Cafe and Bistro is a delightful cafe in the quaint, Fontainhas area of Panjim. Run by friendly and hospitable people, it serves excellent food, whether you're there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And the Goan food here is as authentic as you can get. And they have an extensive coffee menu. The aroma of coffee welcomes you as you walk in the door. The ambience is comfortable and the owner makes it a point to personally welcome each guest and make them feel part of the family. The toilets here are really clean, which is also a tremendous plus. Yes, as I said, a delightful place to visit.
